  • I adapted the Aberrant/AEon timeline to DC's Kingdom Come, mirroring how the rise of self-appointed protectors eventually pushed aside the government-national backed novas (Justice League), who were eventually forced to leave Earth after the meta-humans failed to control themselves (the assault at the meta-human prison). This set the stage for the rise of a more deliberate breed of metas (psions and their Orders), while the corrupted metas from before plot to return. There are numerous parallels which make sense (the attack on Captain Atom/the explosion of Wycoff, Divis Mal confronting the UN/Superman...

Well done. I had made something similar for Aberrant years ago but these look amazing.

  • First, you may enjoy reading Steve Jackson Games supplement which came out about ten years ago. It breaks down many of the supporting cast and has good ideas on expanding on the mythos. I found the system a little stifling though.
Second, I always thought that the systems for Adventure! covered the setting well, especially with the action/pulp tone so many of the comics had.

I've been trying to compile a WoD WWII reference for a few weeks now, which is slowly metamorphosing into me creating a full-bore sourcebook. But while prancing through the books, I agree with Ajax that a lot of the first edition work is almost worthless for any kind of integrated games (magic-vampire Himmler? Really?)
The wiki's timeline isn't too bad, but it's really just a skeleton for you to put the meat on. For me, the more interesting story hooks are the Tradition/Technocrat cabal defeating the Nephandi, the subtle Garou presence of assistance in Russia (as well as the Get civil war...

  • I really enjoyed the series - half because I think Greg Stolze is very good at telling stories through very fleshed out and dimensional characters, and also because reading the books helped me "get" the game as a whole. Before the series, I never felt like I understood the dynamic of how the memories of the host and the Fallen interact and merge on a mental level. Prior to this, I almost read it like the Psyche/Shadow interactions in Wraith instead of the Fallen being guided by the Earthly experiences.

And of course afterwards, the obsessive in me made stats for it all.
