    Typo.

Plasticity isn’t always on, you need to activate it like most other powers. If you activate Plasticity and then subsequently activate Gross Manipulation, you don’t really need to purchase the Reach tag for your bodymorphed weapons. If you just use Gross Manipulation, you’ll have to add the Reach tag if you want to stretch out....

  • Wyrd, Paradim didn’t say kill. They said hunt. There’s no issue with werewolves hunting other werewolves, and we’ve spent considerable words explaining that hunts don’t always end in death.

I would greatly appreciate it if you’d spend more time reading what people actually say, and less time weaponising book quotes against them.

  • No. You’re missing the point. No matter that they dress it up as ‘oaths’ these factors are inherent to the Uratha condition. Harmony doesn’t care that you have interpretations, you’re still going against your inner nature.

  • Possibly. To read it another way, we’re just saving ourselves from writing a new line in the Harmony table that says “Violating the Oath of Urfarah. (Pure only, -2)”

Achieves the same result, and though there’s some difference in nuance, essentially what the werewolves like to view as a code is actually part of their nature.

In truth, the table should add a third line saying (in facetious terms) “Violating either Oath even though you never swore it. (Ghost Wolves only, -2)”, because Harmony is part of Uratha nature, not a lifestyle choice.

Ah, thanks for the clarification. Regardless, biotech creation rules in AEon AExpansion.

  • With the normal caveat of do what you want in your own game, latents are covered on p. 203 of Trinity Continuum: AEon. They star with 2 dots of Psi, single dot in one Mode, and can’t manifest any powers except in stressful times with the SG’s permission.

As I understand it, yes you’ll see biotech creation rules. I’m not sure where the Supertech tag was.

The thing with the tech system, much like the basic Super Science in Core and the expanded in AEon AExpansion (which I know hasn't been published yet), is that it allows replication or enhancement of powers/abilities. So if you have a population-affecting Quantum power that you want to build into a permanent system (the tech), you can do that. It may not be easy to do, depending on breadth and difficulty factors, but it's possible.

Someone submit 'Defensive's lack of appearing in Aberrant to the feedback sheet....

And we have a canon example of its existence, in AEon-era China.

The descriptions don’t include things like social theories, but there’s no reason why you can’t use the system to build such.

That appears to be how it’s written, but as I didn’t write that section I have no idea of the intent.

The Soft tag is the rating. You’ll see that all armor includes ‘Soft 1’ at least. If the number is higher, that’s the Soft rating, not that +1.

The thing is, for all the people declaring the nerfing of the novas and whatever when it comes to teleportation/warp, in 1e the novas were never in the psion’s league anyway. Those declaring how good novas were at teleporting/warping distances aren’t paying attention to the actual 1e rules.

In 1e, psionic teleporters could teleport *anywhere* regardless of distance, as long as they had some familiarity with it. And that familiarity could be as vague as someone else describing it. Sure it would be more difficult, but *anywhere*, absolutely no limit on distance.

    Novas,...

Yes, part of the reason why the Aberrant era doesn’t have all the extrasolar space colonization that AEon has - psi teleportation is better for long range, as long as you can form a noetic connection....

The furthest star we can see is 16 thousand light years away. The vast bulk of stars we see in the sky are up to 1000 light years away, not 50, and a teleporter can jump to any one of them from visual connection alone. If he’s never been there before, his jump will just take him ‘somewhere’ near the star and he’ll have to begin surveying from there. If he’s visited a place further out than that he can use that connection to teleport even further.

This is specifically what the rules intend....
