    Pretty sure that is only for gambits (and perilous charms that cost initiative I guess?). "If a character enters Initiative Crash as a result of his own actions (such as by using a disengage action, which costs 2 Initiative to attempt, with only 2 Initiative remaining), he immediately loses another 5 Initiative.

    How does poisons like mists of eventide work then? It applies damage to initiative until they crash then they all sleep? If a group is being gassed by the demon Poison McNasty and they enter crash, is the subsequent damage dealt to their magnitude? If so, does the "inflict...

    Alright, feels a bit weird that the charm have more impact on big though foes worthy of being single beings than relative weaklings like petty mortals. Thougth that "their Initiative rating is used entirely to determine when the group takes its turn during each round." Meant that they can't spend it as a resource, like on decisive attacks, disengages and so on.

    Then isint the -3 to rout pointless since the effect of the charm is that they flee already? Or am I missing something?...

    Thank you for the quick answer, another question that I have been pondering that I forgot to ask. It concerns Terrifying apparition of glory and its effects on Battle groups. Is a battle group capable of paying the initiative cost to ignore the effects of it (Taking 5 magnitude damage I assume?) to not flee? A battle group that has paid the initiative/magnitude, do they still get -3 to rout? And is a battle group only considered terrorized (for the purpose of the -3 to rout) if their resolve have failed?

    Thanks Robert for taking the time to answer our questions!
    Just need some clearification, If a solar have command over several battle groups, does War God Descendent add 1 to all their sizes for the combat or to just one of the groups? And if a battle group under its effect is already size 5, does it size (temporarily) go to 6 or is it capped at 5?

    Ultimately up to your GM of course. I would be very careful and not allow artifacts or such to increase for a specific spell or merit. Alternatively a god or exalt might have a charm (presence charm building on the underling promoting touch) that let you use their essence rating at the cost of WP or something. Also remember that making a Talisman of Ten Thousand Eyes is a ambition 1 celestial circle working, so a staff that stores sorcery motes should be at least that unless it works significantly different from the talismans shaping rituals.

  • My group is using roll20 and my GM has been a real champ and made some really useful tools.

    For everyone, free or not, check this out, it greatly helps with double x's and rolling in general

    If your GM is using the paid version, then check this out, helps with ALOT of things, greatly recommended.
