The soundtrack from the swedish tv-show "Jordskott" fit Changeling perfectly:

The show itself is also great inspiration. It is about children going missing in a spooky forest and a detective/mother to one of the children tries to find the culprit, who might not be entierly human......

  • Cool! "Scent of fear" look like a good candidate for the eclipse tag in my opinion.

  • Assuming you mean "how would I go about creating a dragon as if depicted in asoiaf with sorcerous workings?" so you are not interested in elemental dragons and such.

    1. Terrestrial 3: Fire breathing bats

2a. River dragon+fire bat could give the body of a dragon. Maybe one more animal to give it legs (up to ST if they can get that from the bat or not). So that is 1-2 terrestrial ambition 2 workings. As a bonus, it is amphibious and has sonar.

2b. Tyrant lizard+fire bat. Lose some amphibious but definatly 1 terrestial ambition 2 working.

  • Again, sounds like the domain of hearthstones and artifice to me.

Finesse is to answer the question "who has control over the quirks of the working"

Take the example of a supernaturally fertile field

Finesse one, the storyteller decides. It can be pretty much anything but it has to keep the fact that it makes a fertile field. They might, for example, decide that unless the field is circled by goat blood during calibration, it wont work the following year.

Finesse three, the player and storyteller comes to an agreement. Maybe you are...

  • It being an artifact or not has no bearing, in general, when it comes to artifice. If it is a working you allow for mundane objects, same usually applies to artifice. So if you have 4 jade artifact statues that say ward against the elements, could you make a working that also makes it protect against scrying? I would say no. But it might be suitable for an evocation or crafting of a matching starmetal statue witch expand upon the sets capabilities....

  • That sounds more like it is in the domain of artifice to me. Great idea for an artifact though....

  • If it works in your game, go for it. But in general I am of this opinion:

Ranged aiming: I would be extremely hesistant to allow this, even if the penalties were -6, -12, -18. MIGHT be fine if you add in that they cannot move on the same turn as when they are shooting, but even then you would need to plan every encounter around "How do I challange my flying archer this time"

Sharp shooter - Fine for NPCs, but would put it as a charm with a decent cost for PCs so it can't be spammed.

Deadly - A strict upgrade of balanced, maybe add in a cost of 1...

Prophet-Uplifting Evocation requires its target to be under the effect of Underling-Promoting Touch. But UPT is indefinite while PUE is permanent (for the person recieving it, instant use of the charm). If a prophet is no longer an underling, will PUE remain in effect?
