    Do they require Attunement?...

This is not a final draft, so I wouldn't worry about it. Anything that doesn't get caught in the numerous steps between now and the advanced PDF will get caught in the advanced PDF.

Holden and Morke have had and have a clarity of vision about Exalted that I really enjoy. Grateful that you guys made the Exalted edition that I could actually like.

Nephwracks are unlike other ghosts, but what prompted the question was that it had been said it was an abstraction to model their capacity to access Necromancy. I am uncertain about my own opinion on this.

Fair answer, I appreciate the honesty! If I can say, I do think concerns about raksha as player characters should probably be on mind when making decisions about them, though I think in the case of ghosts that's a less pressing concern depending on your interests for the line.

Are there any sorcerous artifacts in Arms of the Chosen?...

‚ÄčRobert Vance and Eric Minton I have a setting question for you! In Exalted Third Edition, are raksha or ghosts capable of using sorcery?

I think you guys are reading into things and assuming extremely hard absolutes about a system that is all about tendencies.

It probably doesn't help that the Romans are the primary sources on what the Galli were like, and they were not kind in their descriptions either. While Roman ideas about gender absolutely play a part in how they view them, there's also the fact that the Galli were foreigners and that Roman sources tend to not be complimentary when the subject they describe are foreigners that Romans don't like.

I think on top of the usual issue of projecting contemporary ideas onto the past that I have concerns about looking at the Galli as trans representation, but if one were to re-imagine them...

Sounds like a little of column A and a little of column B.

That was what I was imagining. It's good to provide a practical solution, and it's also good to note that if you really do want to develop a different set for an artifact that the system also supports that.

Hey everybody, wrote up three new demons and wanted to call attention to the manuscript with my spell conversions in them since we haven't been able to coordinate an update to the pdf recently.

    Perronele, the Living Armor

They're a classic, but tricky to render in a way that felt fair and not obligatory for every sorcerer ever. I hope people like these. Any suggestions for new abilities or new costs for them would be appreciated, I do want to make sure I don't miss any gaps.

    Eristrufa, the Mist Demon

You sailing sorcerers now have a buddy! They're...

That sounds very cool! Werewolf: The Forsaken has in its 2nd edition done some similar stuff to the powers of its protagonists, which could provide some great inspiration.

Continuing the Lunars theme, is there any chance we might see some dominions, beastfolk & lunars among the pages of the Ex3 Antagonists that we'll be seeing soon?...

A good, simple system that solves that problem in a fun way.

Okay! Porting my questions about the Preview over here:

Any chance at giving us an idea of what Dissonant keyword does to penalize using an artifact? Are there regular Evocations separate from Resonant Evocations?

Super cool preview courtesy of our new devs, Robert Vance and Eric Minton

I love the details about non-Exalted and attunement as well. Don't suppose you guys could give us any insight into what makes Resonant Evocations different and what the Dissonant Keyword means?

Echoing Spacepup, I'm gonna be running a little 1-on-1 thing for my girlfriend soon and she was very happy to have those anima banner powers for her Fire Aspect.

Essence Cultivation is also an awesome mechanic to supplement the need that DBs have for Anima levels to use their charms that feels very in-keeping, and the distinction between the reflexive version and the regular version is great for making it not feel too wimpy. It's a really great addition to the splat....

  • No. Teeth are the notable exception. Orchicalcum dentures were a common wonder in the First Age.

Wew, things have changed since I made this thread.

Very possible that Geist 2e could facilitate receiving an answer to this question at some point in the future.

  • I think there's something to be said about the idea that her cult is likely uninvolved with the Idigam living in the rock given the lack of mention. Or ideally that's the case. That might have crossed into uncomfortable territory otherwise.

Of course, they might also be involved but in a very mundane way, just doing what they did anyway and occasionally doing things for the Idigam. I was leery of the idea that they might be pawns of the Idigam....
