Cambalache is from Enrique Santos Discepolo, not Julio Sosa.

"El que no roba, no mama
Y el que no afana, es un gil"

There is no Argentine lyrics more than that.

  • Pg.137 and no, he was never mentioned again. Perhaps he got embraced by Ala after all, but the background potential is huge for him. I usually take that he was the only one to be personally embraced by Tremere and he is the only one capable of restoring order if he fails to control Saulot's soul within him.

  • Although it is known that Maldavis is a childe of Abraham DuSable, she is considered Caitiff.

There's one particular Tremere that always intrigued me. Lucidus, the only one to ever defeat Tremere while they were both mages (he is mentioned in HoT).

Well, there's the slight issue with an entire floor filled with demons (an Etrius mistake) and being entirely sealed (HoT), so I'll take it that perhaps a Baali nest resides there (TC3).

  • Well, if you take Beckett's Jyhad Diary and read all the novels, you will understand immediately where certain NPCs come from and why. A Brief History od Beckett depicts a lot of the events of Victorian Age trilogy, so does the Mithras/Kemintiri "relationship". Then in Azhi Dahaka chapter, The Eldest + Ilyas is something that happened in Dark Ages Novel Tzimisce, so is the "we" facet of Vykos.

On John Dee as being Tremere (from WoD1st ed) it has been replaced by him being a persona of an elder Malkavian from London By Night (Abraham Mellon IIRC).

Well, as a great idea as it would seem, having one of the main metaplot protagonists, Mithras, who appeared in 5 books as the childe of the Ventrue Antediluvian being embraced in the 12th century BC., seemed like a MAJOR plothole for Gehenna (not even mentioning Antonius or Alexander). Then the explanation for this plothole being "Ventrue is beyond life and death"... well. Criticism was inevitable.

Sure, through Storytellers Vault is the obvious choice, but in retail or kickstarter, unlikely. I might be wrong though.

I highly doubt V20 to continue releasing Vampire (Masquerade) books while V5 is the current gameline. It's impossible. Whoever owns VtM publishing rights would never allow it.

I understamd the reasons for V20 being "canon agnostic" hell, I was there back in those days in the forums and for every decision WW took on metaplot during Revised era, there was lots of crticism (good and bad). I believe their biggest mistake on this was Gehenna book. Everyone hoped to see all their backstory tied up in one place and it felt empty (not to say about their decision for the Ventrue Antediluvian being killed during the Second City...).

But even if they claimed otherwise, Guide to the Tal'Mahe'Ra had bits of metaplot story there and BJD is THE quitessential...

  • Spanish editions for Vampire were done by La Factoria, which is based in Spain.

I do live in Argentina and I went to Brazil 6 times for vacations, plus I'm kind of a self taught anthropologist aficionado, so if they ever need info on South America white-wolf/Onyx Path, just ask.

  • The most prominent empire in South America was the Inca (tawantinsuyu IIRC). Most of the patagonian indigenous people learned and advanced technologically thanks to the Incas.

The amazon has an enigmatic mystery. Kuhikugu (or City of Z). Apparently there was an earlier civilization before the Inca and this might be it. There's also Tiwanaku and Puma Punku, both predating the Incas. So yeah, one can say that there is a lot to build from if desired.

Of course, if one follows Graham Hancock's questioning of the origin of civilization, we can actually place Atlantis in the...

  • Beyond Focused Mind level 5 (Blood Magic, Rites of the Blood), there are two other modifiers:

    - Draught of Earth's Blood, level 3
    - Consecration of Sanctum, level 4

Both from Players Guide to Low Clans.

  • In second this! I only remember Sangre Eterna (from Chile) which was partially based in the roleplaying game.

    Which one was it?

I loved the Lasombra crown from revised (I even wear such necklace everyday)! But, I have nothing against this one.

  • I completely agree with you. But it is shown that South America never was a place in which authors wanted to be shown in the same light as North America and Europe. The fact that "something unknown there" killed kindred sporadically (later to be revealed as the Tlacique) and now the Drowned Legacies in BJD means that they still think of it in such a way.

  • Wow! It got published! I remember the authr posted the first two pages and two covers for this book back in the old forums. I told him of Gratiano being the Archbishop but I think he chose not to include him.

Hope to get this one sometime.

    V5 Clan Lasombra symbol

Has it been already released? I NEED to know.

I expect it to be different like all the other clans so far, but, will it be based on the revised crown or in the 2nd ed wax seal?
