  • "When Lady Blake and the vampire who remade her - a blood-sorcerer named Anton Wellig - flee to the Continent, Regina cannot let her go and returns to the company of Victoria Ash, who has become her protector and lover among the undead."

    - The Wounded King, pg. 8

There is no given generation to Anton Wellig but due to his position within the clan and thaumaturgical power, he is most probably childe of Meerlinda, thus Emma Blake was 6th or 7th generation.

  • Emma Blake (a.k.a. Emiliana Ducheski) is childe of Anton Wellig embraced in 1887 and perished in 1888, unless they changed that too in V20.

  • Tubalcain is mentioned as an example of a high level discipline power in Dark Ages Vampire IIRC, but beyond such mention, there is no mention of him ever again.

I remember the creation process of Esperanza Lucifer in open development, its sire I believe it was intended to be [Lasombra] but then generation changed and it is believed that Esperanza Lucifer the Younger diablerized a childe of Mithras,

Yeah [Lasombra] is extremely interesting. I do believe that he transcended cainite form and is purely an abyssal entity or he is the abyss itself. Yet there is one thing that is intriguing about the clan. Montano being the eldest he is merely 3000 years, therefore, there is a void of Lasombra cainites in vampire history from the Second City to 1600 BC. I believe that [Lasombra] killed the entire clan prior to Montano's embrace.

Every single one of them have something of interest, it is really hard to choose one over the others.

[Brujah] / Troile. Both sire and childe their relationship is remarkably interesting, one being cold and calculating and the other being the exact opposite, yet both impossibly wise scholars.

Cappadocius' conviction to diablerize God always fascinated me because I doubt he was wrong on that one, yet it intrigues me his move of letting himself be diablerized by Augustus, what was the purpose of it? I doubt it to be hubris, but somehow I believe it was a sliver of conscience...

  • Veddartha not being the Antediluvian was an issue of a lot of ongoing debate in the old forums. Maltheas from Transylvania Chronicles II was the cause of it. The thing is in such book generations in the NPC section are what the Cainite claims to be, not the real ones Hardestadt "the Younger" (which is his childe) is post Tyler diablerie of the elder, and Maltheas being 5th and childe of Veddartha is also false since in pg. 67 it explains that he poses as Cainite of a "much younger generation" so his generation should be 4th. Now this rises even more questions, because that...

  • The one that was Eldest during the Curse was the vizier Nakurtum who took the seat after Sha'hiri.

  • Auspex 8, as said above is not Sight of the Oracles (which is 9 in DA), but she can use Auspex 6 and don't even need to leave her body to spy over her enemies. This perhaps the Tremere can neutralize in specific places of planning.

Presence 8 with Majesty is truly hard to overcome. I'd say the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Go to the Sabbat, tell them the truth, there's a juicy methuselah in the city and tempt them to diablerize her. Once they go full frontal attack, snipe her from a safe long distance range and at mid-distance get a team to be near enough to finish her.

About Erik Eigermann and Ilse Reinegger

Do anyone recall them being mentioned in V20 or V5? Because I think I read them (as Erik the Fair or something like that) but never wrote down where.

It would be very interesting. We only have Veil of Night, Iberia by Night, World of Darkness 2nd ed and Cairo by Night as sources to the sect. I'd rather have the sect as a section of an elder sourcebook, though.

  • Unless you choose to write up the Cainite hierarchy from scratch, I'd recommend Dark Ages Europe, Dark Ages British Isles, The Ventrue Chronicles and House of Tremere (for the Durham chantry).

306 AD Julian decapitates his 4th generation Ventrue sire and becomes Prince of Eboracum (York).
312 AD Montano manipulate a Ravnos to appear the chi rho in the sky to Constantine so that he support christianity (perhaps there a rift between Lasombra and Mithraic Ventrue from this).
409 AD Mithras survives several attempts on his unlife, other elders perishes.

  • If Sobek existence is true, a story in which the Mokole, Silent Striders and the Amenti join all together against the his temple would be very interesting. Combining the Beckoning of V5, plus so many individual plots, the area is so rich in storytelling that it is almost tempting to write a chronicle.
