That's not how it works. Once you reach level 6 or higher you have to choose which power to buy. Perhaps ur-Shulgi do have more than 1 power per discipline 6-9 level due to his ridiculous advanced age, but it only a probability.

Agree on that one, he served as caliph previously, and given his age and compared to revised's Caliph Thetmes, he is comparably understated.

It is a possibility yes, but it might also be that the time certain cainites spend in torpor is not specified.

Use Children of the Night system of square root of the years he spend active. I believe it to be the best system for NPCs discipline stats.

The "we fucked up so we closed the entire floor" in House of Tremere was hilarious. I'm currently writing a Vienna by Night short chronicle, so perhaps the issue is addressed, since the former Tremere primogen was Ardan Lane, current regent of Ceoris (pre V5).

  • Agree on that one. No one writes arabic culture better than CAS, Last I heard, he lives in the US but is really informed on everything related to those regions, specially the levant area.

I should say I disagree on Jerusalem by Night book, I really disliked it. It's history section I consider it very poor compared to Constantinople.

I always thought of Goratrix being old, even as a mage. His name is Gaulish, and that probably makes him at least from 200 AD, have this in mind when stating his mental and knowledge stats.

On his appearances in books, he is in both Transylvania by Night and Ashen Cults (thanks Magus for that last one reference a couple of years ago). He is Monster (Nature) and Rogue (Demeanor), between his early 30s to mid-30s, both entries place him as 4th generation vampire. Etrius entry claims that he know ALL paths and whatever ritual necessary, therefore I believe Goratrix to be in his same...

As far as I know, the intention was that Tezcatlipoca was a Tlacique that just happened to know Obtenebration and Abyss Mysticism (no, I never liked this idea one bit).

  • I agree with your opinion on how many locations other than north america are written. Europe is beyond in richness for writing any Vampire book, but also, it might be impossible to even detail the entirety of a city in a By Night book. On Spain, I really liked the combination of Iberia by Night and Veil of Night, plus Dark Ages: Europe later. On the other hand, Darkening Sky, was bad, really bad. Too bad the original material for the book was lost (which was going to explain why Gotzon uses Cry That Slay the Night in the first place, my thoughts go to Hardestadt killing Jurgen since he wanted...

  • He wants to be out of the Jyhad, I really doubt he'll agree to the rules within the Camarilla pact with the Les Amies Noir (even though I guess he never was part of them).
