Seems ver convincing. My money is in Tanithbaal-Sahar, except for one thing. Of he was Sultan in Ankara, and Camilla was Prince of Rome in V20DA, how did he failed to feel his lover across the Mediterranean as Sultan of Ankara? Let's say Camilla wasn't able to do so. How in the bloody hell didn't Tanith felt him in Ankara (since he was being searched by sorcerous means too)?!?!

Wasn't he diablerized by Sarrasine? His childe's generation was 6th in WoD2nd IIRC.

The Baali? I highly doubt it. The Brujah might learned Dark Thaumaturgy from his old records in his library. But yeah, he seems to know a lot.

  • I have to disagree on this (Alexander being unimpressive).

The Prince of Paris was FEARSOME, yet, he did behave like a child, driven by his passions. I highly doubt that he trusted Saviarre, but she was an old Cainite that perhaps shared his age (Alexander was embraced in 700 b.c.), she had her uses to Alexander.

While in exile, every kindred feared him and he relished on it. Prince Jurgen was constantly on high alert of he ever attempting to oust him and his possessive nature made Josselin face him in combat, whom he easily defeated, knowing that Rosamund would plead...

  • It wasn't Jalan who diablerized Alexander of Athens "Pinceps Lutetia", it was Qarakh (but! he could be the one who later became Jalan).

Well, back i n the day. Saulot was an enigma. After V20 in which they explained A LOT of him, yeah, perhaps LotH description seems not enough. On the extense text usage, I disagree, I liked it a lot and believed it was enough to aid the setting and characters. On Ravenloft, sorry, I have no idea, I only play Vampire RPGs.

Well, he DID hinted on where to locate and formulate the ritual to break the bonds through Vaulderie and literally have every anarch have Tzimisce blood inside them. Beyond his fame, he has importance to the Eldest.

I was going to add on why it did make sense but you pretty much nailed it, plus:

    - There never ever was a book depicting the Inconnu before, exception (Children of the Night, WoD1st ed), therefore, sales, and it really was a very revealing module/setting.

    - When it came out, it was during the Time of Judgment crossover line (and I was pretty hyped when it did). It didn't disappoint, hell, we (canon OCD ppl) got to know a litte bit more on what Saulot was up to after TCIV (and before V20 stated clearly for the first time that his intention was to divide hun/p'o and become...

I thought of that one when DA revised was released, and yes, it might be possible.

Cb-TzR (IIRC) stated that Lambach was embraced before current organized religions, therefore, he is old. Then, the Ruthven line was left in charge of guarding the nascent Antediluvian (given to them by the Dracon after he was destroyed by Samiel) in Sarmizegetuza.

Being the chronicler of the Eldest, founder of the Voivodate, and guardian of the "body" of the Eldest would make sense. But yet, I believe that Ionache and Lambach are different cainites.
