I would agree on the Apostate option, though be careful that the Fire-Touched don’t learn that bit, their Sacred Prey is loose enough that they might consider a mage like you fair game.. theeen again, you’re with a Forsaken pack so never mind, broadcast away!

But in my less optimistic opinion, don’t be a mage in a werewolf pack, that’s a tragedy waiting to happen in my personal experience

  • It is the world of darkness my friend, and just like in real life, faith is sometimes used to galvanize people into doing terrible things. The fact that it confers real power in the game is just one of those things that shows that someone is benefiting a great deal from their devotion ...

  • Faith is a great thing, it’s why the Fire-Touched are my hands down favorite Tribe. The chronicles of darkness universe is just fortunate that faith often does have tangible validation to it ...

  • Unless the storyteller decides otherwise that is

It could be a Lune acting on her behalf, or Rabid Wolf fucking with the Forsaken’s head for lols and/or some more sinister agenda, most definitely.

Buuuut it could possibly, maybe, perchance, kinda sorta, actually be Luna. I’ve always been of the opinion that a Rank 6+ Spirit of anything is an Avatar of whatever entity it claims to serve, and therefore is that entity, albeit in an almost comprehensible form.

But like you said, it could equally NOT be Luna at all. It’s all good either way baby, it...

  • Well I mean Cahalith, and potentially all Uratha who still bear a connection to Luna, receive omens and dreams from Her. So it’s more like they get talked at by a vague as hell Goddess, but there is at least a symbolic form of communion that doesn’t totally rely on Lunes.

But The Warden Moon is nuttier than squirrel poop, so Soulless Wolf can say whatever it wants and be just as truthful as any Lune or Firstborn servitor can/ wants to be....

  • That does make a lot of sense Khanwulf, it would make an interesting plot hook for sure!

And wolf ninjas would be funny, though I’m thinking it would probably be a bit more circumspect in that regard.

Damn it I thought of a couple more Firstborn.. I’ll post them in a bit!

  • And as promised, two more that I remembered!

Blind Wolf: The Firstborn Totem of the Pure Tribe known as the Maimed, a tribe fully comprised of former Forsaken elders who had been deposed, but not killed, by their younger contemporaries, and believe they understand the true error the Forsaken made by killing Mother Wolf through surviving such power plays. Thus they seek to find a way to revive Urfarah and ensure he never falls into decline again- primarily through the ritual sacrifice of the blood and Essence of the Urdaga.

Lone Wolf: An unaffiliated Firstborn recently...

  • There might be more to this idea than you think, Khanwulf.

Urfarah was a Wolf, but he was the Pangean pillar that represented Hunting along with Boundaries, so theoretically all kinds of predatory shifters could of been born from Her union with Father Moon, though wolves would be far more likely to emerge.

Sorry for the Necro, I remembered a couple more of those alternative Firstborn I had, which I will reveal next response lol...

  • To be more specific, the Urge Wyrm’s are more like semi sapient extensions of the Triatic Wyrms/ Balance Wyrm’s thoughts and emotions rather than true spiritual manifestations,or like Tulpas rather spirits in their own right, that’s what the Maeljin are for...
