I was going with X Dream fir simplicity of theme. I'm open to any suggestions regarding names.
Mostly just dream related... for now.
I'd prefer to wait until 2ed official comes out before designing Endowments according to a system that may not be used....

In order:
1) That ability is called Waking Dream. I don't know how the entry got eat into Entry Dream. Also, regarding the name, I did mention I was taking suggestions and advice.
2) I'd probably do it as a Merit Tree if I thought I had enough abilities to justify the tree.
3) I don't have enough info about 2ed Endowments. I used the Corebook, Mortal Remains, and Tooth & Nail to figure out potential mechanics for Dream-Melding.
Thanks for commenting Vent0, if you have any suggestions, let me know....

Well, the time has come! It's time I finally put down Dream-Melding! I hope you all enjoy.
Dream-Melding:
Using special meditative techniques and exercises, Dreamers are able to enter one of the Myriad Dreams, place others in special healing dreams, or meld dreams and the waking world. Similar to Castigation, a Dream Healer learns a new use of Dream-Melding with each dot purchases. Unlike Castigation, however, a Dream Healer may purchase uses outside their Dream-Melding as additional merits. Dream Healers also have access to the Dream Sword, Dream Shield, Regenerative Mind,...Last edited by Mangaholic13; 04-11-2018, 06:12 PM.

Well, done so more thinking, and I'm glad to say I've managed to think of a few ideas about how Dream-Melding will function... Though that isn't what this post is about. Instead, it's about the Dream Healers' stereotypes and hunters. I may add some for fan-made C&Cs... with their creators permission.
Stereotypes
Yuri's Group: Their patients are proof of what a damage a Beast which has strayed can cause. Send such victims to them, but do not let them know what we are.
The Reckoning: Ignorant fools, the whole lot. The fact that they are little different...Last edited by Mangaholic13; 04-07-2018, 09:34 PM.

This reminds me of those bardic lore results charts they'd give for prestige classes and organizations in Dungeons and Dragons 3.5 edition.

Well, most of those other conspiracies I mentioned are kind of bare bones, but here they are:
The Dream Healers you can find out more on in the link.
A law firm who invoke magical pacts to force monsters to follow human laws.
A cult to use mystical lanterns and their own fears to animate their shadows.
And, a group of shamans, spiritualists, and psychics who bind spirits into weapons they use to hunt evil spirits.
I also have some compacts with potential endowments for if someone wants to use them as a conspiracy.

Advice on making Endowments
So yeah, I'm looking for advice regarding Endowment creation, this pertains not only to my Dream Healer conspiracy but also to a few other ideas for Conspiracies I've had and I wanted suggestion on not just making them but ensuring they're balanced.
Anybody got some wisdom to share?

Also, if you want more info on Hototogisu, check out either Dark Eras: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/...ttest_filtered
or (for the budget conscious) Dark Eras: Fallen Blossoms: http://www.drivethrurpg.com/product/...ttest_filtered...

Hototogisu effective buy their powers off of monsters. Unlike Shulpae, who get sick if they eat more then their stamina (because the human body was never meant to process raw monster flesh), Hototogisu's Setto has not drawbacks or strings attached; if you can convince the monster to sell it to you, that power is yours! ...Though you can only have up to 5 powers total (like Lucifuge's Castigation).
And yeah, the Faithful of Shulpae are gross....

Habbiti Ma and The Hototogisu in Hunter 2ed
I think Habibti Ma and the Hototogisu should be part of the Hunter 2ed Core Compacts & Conspiracies.
Why, you may be asking do I think so? Well, for Habibti Ma, it's because of their sheer versatility:
I know they were created as a Compact that would oppose Mummies (mainly their cults), but think about it like this: Most splats in the Chronicles of Darkness can have Cults or cult-like groups!
Vampire blood cults, Mage mystery cults (especially either Seer or Guardian ones), Werewolf spirit cults (*cough*Les Mysteres*cough*), Changeling developed cults...

Oh, I thought Onyx might be saving them for the Contagion Chronicle, since that seems to involve splat hybrids, I figured the Belial's Brood might return as literal Demonic Vampires......

They should also remain in doors whenever a famous celebrity dies.
All bearers of the animal preview are reminded at this time that just because you can make giant monsters does not mean you should!...

Also, on a related note, do the Belial's Brood even exist anymore?
