Going off of what Alu said, like even when my group plays in person we just roll our own dice and count our own results and no one checks to see if the other people counted correctly, i don't think being able to see other peoples rolls is terribly neccesary.

But if you want to use a dice chat room my group always used rolz.org it's pretty good
Allows for logging into a private chat room for your group where you can roll any combination of dice and have it be seen by everyone.
Haven't used it in a few years though.

Everyone technically has a motepool, as an inate part of having a soul, but mortals are simply incapable of accessing that more pool to the point that it might as well not exist.

  • i personally would love to see some examples of cults that derive from the custom backer charm in the lore tree of miracles of the solar exalted, soul light spreading discipline. I know that would probably fall under the area of cults based on philosophies, but it would be interesting to see some actual coverage for the charm itself as an example of how to play it out and for creating similar charms that provide cult like capabilities in other aspects.

I heard Blaque mention something about having a charm as part of their branding craft charm tree that effectively creates a cargo...

This is very interesting, and. It just because time skips are one of my favorite ways for plots to be advanced in stories while allowing the reader to fill in the blanks.

I was going to say that you should try to get all of the characters invested in large side quests to do with their own personal downtime, but it already seems like they are planning on doing that themselves.
I would then have them give you a write up of how they plan to go about these projects so that you can work then into your story.
I don't know if you want to have them gain xp over the time but I...

Ah i see what you are doing, i went a different rout and had the one that lets you track your crafts based on the red anvil fluff be the start of its own subtree and then made an alteration to chains fall away that lets you destroy your crafted works from a distance if they aren't being used how you would like.

i can't wait to see your interpretation on the buidling the legend charm, i am already going to have your gucci charm in my tree and i might roll the two together....

Blaque I love the unerring journeymans eye, at first I was worried that it might be too similar to the charm from sanctaphrax' rewrite that lets you do the same, but that one works for artifacts and doesn't let you introduce facts, so I might keep both and have this charm be the prerequisite for sanctas

Undoubted sign of the master is just too amazing, at first I was worried that it might be too similar to the ability found in the art of permanence that lets the crafter mark an object with their essence but interpreting this in a mundane way makes it different enough

  • Yea that's actually something I sugested a few posts down from this one you quoted, which I think would also be cooler and go along with the ops desire for cool effects based on using demons more.

Also I agree about the craft tree not having enough cool effects charms, I'm currently trying to do a charm rewrite for it and dedicating a whole section of the tree to a cool effects tree, which I'll probably put this in....

You know this is actually something that I had had an issue with myself, however I decided that it would be worth ignoring for the sake of justifying why slivers had not overrun creation by now, and also because I loved the idea of slivers being able to be seen as artifacts due to the number of times artificers in the mtg universe had tried to create artificial slivers.

I'm thinking now that maybe slivers were older than Metal Blosom. I still love the concept of having her making artifact slivers to serve as constantly improving and semi autonomous artifact tools that Sorcerous O...

Personal head cannon wrt barbarians in game, although there are barbarian tribes that summon up the images portrayed in Conan (not going to try to make them all go away despite the orientalist depiction) the majority of "barbarian" tribes are referred to this way in the same way that those termed as barbarians in our world are referred to this way.

In other words, for the most part in creation the term barbarian being applied to a group of people has more to do with the desire of the individuals saying it to other the group being referred to, rather than any real remark...

So If I'm gathering this right, transporting objects to elsewhere is essentially viewed by the community as being similar to teleporting something in Star Trek, but then storing what you've teleported as data in the data buffer. It still exists but not really?

This is a bit confusing considering I got into exalted late into 2nd edition and most of the books were out already, so the comic from odenols, plus the fact that the entire demon realm and autochthon existed in elsewhere never made me think of it this way.

There is no reason why a solar with a physical or mental disability could not be representative of a human turned to 11. A person can have a disability and still be the best of the best, so I feel like this argument doesn't hold water.

I made this post only to see Isator Levi beat me to it...

i remember reading something like this somewhere before when someone was discussing the differences between the immaculate teaching of lockshy and the realm, with the belief that lockshy maintained the shogunate era teachings.

i hadn't even considered this as a fix for food shortages, the fact that agricultural yields would be improved simply by using modern agriculture, although this wouldn't have much effect on places that use japanese farming techniques for things like rice since they were already was ahead of us on their agricultural practices.
honestly it would be very interesting since in the third edition field guardians just show up in any planted crop, regardless of its origin, so even if agriculture gods might be upset, although i don't know why they would be since all domesticated plants started out...

well slivers exist in other areas of the mtg universe now and have not destroyed it, perhaps they evolved to a non-invasive state?...

That would agree with the comic depicting the crafter entering "elsewhere" and being surrounded by hundreds of lost artifacts, also sadly in effect being lost himself.

Can't remember the book for reference right now, I will find it in the morning....
