  • I still haven't got my copy of the Third Edition.

I got the PDF ages ago, but I've yet to receive my Deluxe copy of Exalted 3e and am starting to get concerned that I won't ever. I know that most other people have got it, so I can't help but feel like there's been some mix-up somewhere along the line. I should probably have said this much earlier, but I was unsure if it was simply an issue with shipping to Australia or something.
I did move house in between backing and now, if that might have something to do with it.

I'm sorry if I should already know this, but assuming it's not just very late, who do I need to contact to get...

I hate pretty much everything going on in the real world right now. It feels like we're either heading towards apocalypse or dystopia.
Honestly, I don't feel any light or hope inside myself. The mere suggestion that there could be any, is enough to push me into a complete rage.
At my absolute best, I feel numb; there's no good, just the bad seething under the surface for a brief while.

At one point, I took comfort in megalomania, but now even that's gone. I see no point in working to make the world better, if any work I do is just going to be undone. I see no point in...

    Huh, reading it now. Interesting-...

There are a lot of prisons which actually were built in the Panopticon style-... Could potentially work as the Presidio Modelo in Cuba?...

    Placing the Tyrannates

So, I've been working on something as a side project apart from the Mage Chronicles I'm getting ready to run. I've been trying to detail the upper echelons of the Great Ministries of the Seers of the Throne, including the Ministers and some of their Secretaries. Now, one of the things that I'm trying to figure out is where the 'Seed' locations of the Tyrannates are, which would also presumably house the primary Irises into the realms.

The Hegemonic Ministry: The Palace of Westminster? Versailles?

The Praetorian Ministry: Babylon? Somewhere in Rome?

    The Ministry...

I guess I could see that. I mean, there's nothing really good about being a Sleeper, but Sleepwalkers are at least capable of living a genuine life without suffering the Lie.
Still, I fail to see any way in which a Mage is made lesser by their Awakening, they just seem to be better in every way than normal people. Not really judging that by the power available to them, but general capacity to experience and understand the world.
To me it seems that they're either Human, or better than Human.

‚ÄčI'd say that Humanity and monstrosity aren't mutually contradictory....

I haven't read through this thread, but I thought I would offer my two cents on the matter of Humanity.

As far as I'm concerned, Mages, one of the most powerful supernatural types, are entirely Human. They are what Humans are 'supposed' to be like, without the Lie.
Really, acknowledging that Mages are Human is the only way I can reconcile the whole 'Humanity is special' thing with Mage itself. If 'Humanity' refers to Sleepers alone, then there's no way I can really spin it positively.

  • I think that if one were to expand the Iblic Creed, they'd need to take the emphasis off of Longinus' role in the crucifixion, considering Isa didn't even die on the cross in most Islamic versions of the event. No, the emphasis should instead be placed on his meeting with Amoniel; that's when he became a Prophet.
The Iblic Creed might hold very different accounts of Longinus' life and Requiem, but his message remains the same; that Vampire's are God's holy monsters, damned but offered divine purpose.

I'd imagine the end result would probably appear almost as different to the...
