Probably a good idea, yes. Sorry, I can get tl;dr sometimes.

Thanks for the ruling, Neall, sounds perfectly fair....

I don't know if that's really necessary, since I believe there's a Solar Lore Charm that says whenever you do something major you can gain a new area of expertise related to the one you just used.

For example, my Supernal Lore Chef (because Supernal Craft wasn't going to do a lot for a chef, sadly) started with a specialty of "Regional Foods". As I introduced facts about that, it expanded to "Wildlife" (to know how they're prepared and eaten), then into Poisons (after poisoning a Satrap with improperly-prepared fugu that still tasted like it was properly prepared....

I think they have an anima banner that flares and is visible as well as looking more obviously dead when their anima flares.

Under the Liminal QC guide, it says the dice cap of their Excellencies rises to [Attribute + Essence] when their anima begins to 'shine', which implies that yes they have a proper anima banner.

Also, from Chapter 1 of the Core...

So it seems that yes, in addition to looking more obviously undead, Liminals have a full-on proper Anima Banner that takes the form of an aura of Essence....

It'd be theoretically possible, but it'd require setting things up, and players would have to keep their OoC knowledge out of character.

Well 'bonus points' would probably take the form of extra experience points. I assume that experience points are still a thing in Scion 2. Also, y'know, success at destroying the Bad Guy's Relic O' Doom.

This? It depends. If the Scion of Loki was going to turn traitor the whole time, then maybe, but I wouldn't feel comfortable springing that on my players. If this came about from friction in the game developing...

I'd have to do an analysis on how powerful the fires of Mount Doom are compared to FiendFyre, and idly wonder if Mount Doom is a magical volcano or if it's simply the only volcano in the map of Middle Earth, would a regular volcano have destroyed the One Ring? Did Sauron use his dark powers to harness Mount Doom, thus making the crater of it a magical workspace that allowed him to forge the One Ring? Because if it's a magic volcano then yes it could probably destroy Voldemort's Horcruxes.

Granted, given Sauron's very nature, I'm sure that if Sauron himself got hold of one of the Horcruxes...

I have no idea. I think the towers shift slightly? I've never actually played the game, it was a MOBA released in 2009...

For punching things that get inside your bombardment minimum range, obviously.

But when I said that I was thinking like... Okay, there was a game that popped up during the MOBA craze... It was called Demigod. I don't remember MUCH about it, save one character.

Meet Rook. He's the spirit of a Demigod animating a goddamn castle.

Now like you said, Vance himself said that most Warstriders are like 15-25 feet tall, with one of the biggest ones in Arms being Gundam-sized. So a castle-sized Strider is unlikely.

    But not impossible, and...

This is all hypothetical, I haven't actually DESTROYED any Relics. A lot of these are adapted from some debates that came and went in the Exalted forums around the time Evocations from artifacts were discussed.

Some people felt uncertain about them not for reasons I could understand ("I can't see a daiklave as being part of my character's story" "My character's a martial artist and fights unarmed" I mean those excuses were THERE but in addition to this one) but because they didn't want to invest Experience points in something tied to a weapon that could be destroyed...

Isator Levi - Siege Crossbows. I think artifact crossbows are Siege Crossbows.

Edit: Also, you link that picture but I'm not adverse to the idea of a Warstrider with actual battlements and batteries on its shoulders that make it look like a walking castle or a cathedral to mount its siege weaponry. I mean yes the one you linked is... Well, 40k, but as 40k designs go that's not bad. Remove the skulls, get rid of the arm cannons, maybe replace the battlement cannons with Essence-focusing lenses or some other First Age Artifice...

Overwrought? Or just wrought enough for a 5-dot Warstrider called the Cathedral of Sublime Annihilation?

I remember many (often very petty and whiny) threads about the Immaculate Styles, and I can say for certain that I've seen Vance confirm no such thing. I've seen that idea... As a hypothetical "What If?" that fans were putting out there....

I think you're overly complicating things. It's not a rule change as much as it's simply playing with storylines. Here's the simple breakdown.
    1. DISCUSS EVERYTHING WITH YOUR PLAYERS. This cannot be overstated. If you're going to do something completely game-changing, make sure you have player approval. Damaging or breaking a Relic, a Relic being stolen, permadeath, make sure your players are on board. Seriously, this shit isn't hard.
    2. If you're going to do something that big, then don't do it on a whim. Make it part of the story. Make a plot line out of it.
    3. Also, this is important... If the

I thought the first teaser said that Getimians are like Sids. Resonant with Starmetal, Dissonant with everything else.

Granted, the DB resonance changed since then, so it may end up differently....

I don't think anybody is saying that it should be EASY to destroy a Relic. At my table, something like that would be a storyline in and of itself, would never be done without player permission, and I wouldn't do it PERMANENTLY. Usually getting a Relic repaired or replaced would be folded into the ongoing adventure....

I personally think it should take mythic effort to break a Relic.

    Consider Moana.

Do you have a ballpark of when that'll be? Even if it's something as vague as "After Arms of the Chosen"?...
