    replied to Elemental Creation Rules
Exalted elementals are natural forces, uneducated, without wit and very task oriented. For this reason I understand BARBARIAN and CHILD (Scroll of Heros pp. 67) the identifier of the elementals.

I adapted a character creation rule:
    1) Attributes: high (+3 points in primary, secondary and tertiary); withou limit by Essence; favored as the First Age Lunar.
    2) Abilities: Low (10 initial points); favored as the dragon-blooded; the level can never pass it Essence; 15 Specialties can be placed in a ability even if it is level 0.
    3) Background: 0 (some races start with...

I can not imagine the elements of Exalted as the elements of our periodic table. They are Platonic elements, philosophies with material manifestation. I recommend "Analogy of the divided line" of Plato in Wikipedia (mathematical explanation about the world using 4 lines = 4 elements).

In Exalted there is alchemy and Plato is correct just as there is no chemistry and Antoine Lavoisier is wrong.

Vitriol and the corpse element are elements in the same way as the native elements of Creation. The difference is that they do not make up the whole matter of their Realms of Existence.

Remember that in Autochthonia people drink water (recycled) rather than oil or steam. An alchemical process extracts the aspects-elements of the original element.

Versatility is the main point of my question. DB of the other elements would be inclined to defend Creation because they are exalted just as the natives would attack Gaia if she turned against Creation. A taboo about exotic DB would be a storyteller choice rather than a scenario setting....

The method of procreation of "dragons of a different color" (from the corpse elements) may include the Vitriol element. If Elemental Dragon is part of the process then it makes everything unique. The Black Treatise not explain the method nor does it prevent the Vitriol element. (necromancy would not be a valid quality)

Metody are demons and elementals at the same time. Read "Other Notes" in BoS II pg 84. Clouds of Malfeas are demonic elementals like the Metody CoCD Malfeas pg 21.

I read that Autochthon kidnapped water elementals. Who remembers where it is written? I want to compare the differences between the elements.

I agree. They just created the Pyre Flame element with all the details. The others are our responsibility but I have great difficulty imagining the Void element.
I suppose the associations are: inevitability, Abyss, foundation, souls.
I do not know if I consider him an invisible, immaterial solid or both....

I would change the origin. I prefer dragons of different color being created by other dragons. Solar locked the secret to themselves. This reduces possible scenario limitations.

Chejop: Look how greedy they are.

Three things made the configuration more dynamic:
    1) Work of Magic. I can design different elements.
    2) Exigent Exalted. I can design dragons of a different color.
    3) Martial Arts. I can design Elementary Styles.

The corpse element is the most "natural" starting point.

I agree. The Underworld is ectoplasm and Creation is elements. Despite this the Pyre Flame element is canonical in both editions. This information does not contradict itself.

I imagine that these exotic substances are the contaminated elements of Creation (MoEP: Abyssals pg 36). For that reason Dragon-Blooded were transformed into other colors by the Deliberative (DoFA: Lands of 41), Fire elementals were transformed into Pyre Flame elementals by Dragon King (SoFR: Dragon King pg 70).

There is a 50% chance of change. If these are The new elements then we will also know the DRAGONS OF A DIFFERENT COLOR.

But I'm working with the possibility of being different.

MoEP: The Abyssals and SoFR: Dragon king make me like "ritual prayers" to manipulate the Void element. Perhaps, objects saturated with it have tha same properties as Soulsteel. It is detected by unusual anguish in the environment (people spend willpower to resist fear) or essence detection charms.

Either way I plan to make the others elements as rare as the Pyre Flame element, to the point a novice ghost does not know....

    How are the corpse elements?

I can imagine an environment with the elements Ash, Blood and Bone. The trees are made of bone. Rivers are made of blood. The air is made of a dust of corpses. I can not imagine the Void element.

I found the Pyre Flame element in SoFR Dragon King pg. 70.
"PYRE FLAME: The green-hued pyre flame of the Underworld combines aspects of liquid fire and burning acid. It's rare enough that it's not a constant danger, but it's common enough that only new ghosts do not know their properties."

What are the properties of the other elements? What is the rarity of e...
