  • Vance has mentioned nothing breaks if you just give 4 Splat XP to all characters after every session, so 5:4 is perfectly fine.

The common theme is usually being a product of emergency and great need (or of godly intrigue and subterfuge, if the Exigence was stolen from other gods to suit some less heroic purposes) and of all of them being larger-than-life divine heroes in much the same way as the other Exalted are. Personally, being broader in possibility of themes allows for a number of fun and wacky ideas as well as really cool ones, and even if I didn't like the concept, the book also acts as a homebrew guide which I really need, so it's a win-win for me....

  • Give them the amount needed to get there (maybe a little more so that they can spend all the Normal XP on Charms and still spend enough to be that Essence), divide it by 5, multiply the result by 4, and give that much in Splat XP as well, is how I've done it

Can non-Dragon-Blooded (Lunars in one's shape, perfectly disguised Solars, and so on) access the Sea of Mind, become Numen or make use of any of the Forest Witch mechanics assuming they manage to finesse their way into being allowed to interact with these things, or are they solely Dragon-Blooded mechanics?

Yep. It's gonna be simple and scenelong in the end, though you can turn a LOT of Simple Charms into Reflexive ones by using DBT if you're going for a scenelong juggernaut kind of build...

I think there's only an attack roll. Damage is calculated via threshold successes plus other things iirc. And then just auto-applied, not rolled....

The Lunar counterattack, Coiled Serpent Strikes, just requires an attack to miss you, no matter whether you dodge or parry it, in 3e....

It's a question that rose at a game when my No Moon, Devil Who Drinks The Blood Moon, was trying to do his shtick of granting people mutations through Sharing Luna's Gifts in ways they wished for. He found a man nearly dying from a poorly healed intestine wound. I asked the ST if granting him Exalted Healing as a mutation would work, at which point neither of us could be 100% certain of whether it actually counted as a mutation or not. So in the end, he ended up granting him a 'special' version of Extra Limbs (Extra Organs) that creates redundant organs to diminish the effects of a crippling wound....

Some Charms from Getimians, Liminals, some universal ones, some splat/anima Advantages. Not a whole lot or anything incredibly exciting I feel, the sessions are a bit too narrative and short to actually see much....

It's just a single spell. "Shape Sorcery" is any roll you make towards gathering SM. The timing is "Make a Shape Sorcery roll. If that doesn't cut it for a spell, make a second Shape Sorcery roll while declaring a side effect. That likely causes the spell to go off by then."...

I think the Balancing on the Edge ritual is not meant to cast a second spell - it's meant to let you roll two Shape Sorcery rolls in one turn for the same spell, by making the spell do more collateral.
