    Most populous Tribe by State

Thinking about if I ever ran another WtA chronicle and how the tribal demographics of my state of Texas would be I started to wonder what others think would be most populous in their state. I'll start and if this sounds interesting chime in. This isn't based on canon but as an interpretation of how I see my home state being represented most accurately. If you're not an American you could still list your interpretation but it probably is more easily defined since the tribes have fairly well defined canon examples of European strongholds.

Children of Gaia: This tribe would be focused...

  • That's great. This is the type of thing I want to have in my game as something the PC's may not ever encounter but they potentially could and would add depth to my plot. Could you give me some more information on him or any other subplots you have in your game?...

  • I disliked Leopold and Victoria at the time but enjoyed the book once they got to the Ball and everything that happened during and immediately afterward. It was a bit of a chore to get through everything up to that point IMO and I'm glad they got this book out of the way first.

  • That could be easily done. Instead of an immediate double cross Crowley makes the deal with Jacob that he'd get a stake in the politics of the city from his stronghold in FT Worth but as his anarchs have been decimated due to the struggle with the Sabbat leaves Crowley with more room to outmaneuver Jacob as time goes on and the city falls more strongly to the Camarilla's influence. Finally after many years of conflict it boils over in the mid 80's but the anarchs ultimately lose. Fast forward to now and Booth's anarchs after having to regain its strength has a chance to make their move. The results...

  • That's funny you mention that since though Timothy is English by birth he took on the affects of a Texas oil tycoon after taking the city seeing it as a small way to cement his presence in the city. Very much a J.R. Ewing caricature he portrays on purpose not at all by accident.

Also yes Meerlinda is mostly uninvolved in the nightly politics of the city since taking it leaving the running of the chantry mostly to her two childer. She is unlikely to be encountered by the PC's and if we do move into the V5 metaplot they'll have to deal with the fallout of the SI strike on Vienna....

  • Chronicle Lore: History of Dallas

Recently posted a question about NPC's relating to Meerlinda of Clan Tremere due to my upcoming chronicle set in my home city of Dallas. I got some interest in the details and having recently written a detailed account of the history of the city up until the start of the chronicle I thought Id post it here to get some ideas or criticisms to improve it before we start. I'm STing for 4 players who've only played D&D so this will be their first experience with WoD. I like what I've come up with so far but it could be fleshed out more and I could sow a few more seeds for potential plot developments....

Ive always wanted an intro scenario included. Most VTM games are run as a sandbox but it would help especially if your designing this for new Storytellers which I may not be but you need to consider all types of potential customers. Giving everyone detailed list of places and NPCs is valuable but offering an inciting incident can help get the chronicle rolling with a bang. Perhaps a single chapter or appendix dedicated to start the game and then leave it open ended to let the PC's branch off into whatever they like....
