Looks outstanding. Gutted I only backed for Continuum core back in the campaign (Had no time to read the previews so just donated a little as I like OPP's work)- If I pre-ordered the Aeon PDF would I get the early PDF as well?...

We have tested it in Scion a few times, so far it's kind of great. Yes there is clumping but once the order is established it has lead to a lot of players able to coordinate and do Teamwork rolls as they are going directly before and after one another. So I think the clumping actually works!

Trinity. I backed the Kickstarter for $10 when it was live and never got around to reading the backer previews, just wanted to throw onyx path some cash as I like their stuff. After loving the scion backer PDF's I went back and read the previews - oh wow I think I love the trinity setting. I'm a sci-fi person over a fantasy and trinity just looks awesome.
Probably going to find some money somewhere to pre order both core books for Xmas. While my group has gone Scion mad we play shorter games for 3 month spans, hoping that by then the full PDF's (and maybe books) will be out and I can run...

About to start 3 Scion games as my group loved the backer PDF's so much.

    My characters are:
Man of the Nile A Scion of Sobek, born to a nile crocodile who's natural state is a crocodile (Sobek got a little funky).
Unable to speak any human but has a gut feeling to protect the Scion of Horus for obvious lore reasons, so spends most of his time eating, sleeping, fighting and learning random words (So far he can say "Clothes" in Arabic after an unfortunate instance of him walking around a cruise ship nude)
Oh and he is a Were-crocodile who can swap between...

  • I do agree entirely, I don’t mean too imply I don’t.
I more wanted to add my thoughts on exposure and discussion of difficult ideas and that people getting that wrong and being harmful being the issue, not approaching these issues at all.

I find far too often this situation goes something like this:
    "This is problematic"
    "Its free speech"
    "Yeah but its shit"
"Stop trying to take free speech away"
"No I want to keep free speech, just have people be more responsible with it"

    And it...

  • The section of the Camarilla book in question, to me at least, smells of stupidity not malice.

I always have held that fiction should not shy away from tackling real issues, physical or philosophical. Occasionally people fuck up when that happens, as seems to have happened here, and I hope they seek to clarify the book before publication and update the PDF's already sent out. We should be criticising the outcome of the attempt, and not the fact it was attempted itself. If these issues are not taken, explored and demonstrated they get lost and forgotten.

    I think Trippy...
