  • True, but those three headed monsters where developed in the first place because they didn't have the option of domination of militia (of which ever type) in the first place. As were ghoul families in fact, neither make sense when other, faster options are available....

  • They used, blood oath, torture, mutilation, Koldunism or Animalism to do that. IF you have Dominate, you don't need war ghouls, you just dominate and blood bind some SWAT or similar, far simpler, and more versatile....

  • And the addition of Dominate...which means war ghouls would never have been needed in the first place...oh and that the mysticism is gone from the clan ofc, because auspex is lost....

  • Merging seems to take Koldunic Sorcery, as Vozhd creation is iirc a ritual (At least it was in Dark Ages, the last time I had a character who would want to try it), so functional organ transplants are part sorcery...probably...

  • Having both in one pick may be a bit to good, I would go for bloodform over Thing mode (Addams family, not horror movie mode )...

  • 1, definitely, 2, Maybe, probably with rituals, like those used to make the melded war ghouls, 3,4,5 probably not, cellular manipulation is stretching it, but doing what a surgeon could, certainly. 6. Yes, this is used as an example in fact (Death and the Soul Tzim can tell you exactly how much you can remove before the patient dies, they have experiments to prove it). Vis would be the tool used, you would need the knowledge of what exactly to do, Auspex would help for assessing things as well...

Well, you know my view, rules are the skeleton, setting is the sinew, plot is the muscle, they have to work together to build the game, if the rules don't reflect the setting, or the story ignores rules, things collapse....

Would that be a Cosmic Horror in V:tM or Cosmic Horror in WoD? Because the what gives Abyss Mysticism, and the Path of Night (as well as Vis and Koldunism in general, however badly the implementation of that idea sucked.) the CH vibe, is related to how they tie into themes from Mage, and to an extent WtA......

right, right, so anyone who doesn't agree with you is a mindless child... I see. Also, who mentioned suing them? Or indeed the Police? You seem to view any dissent from the party line as a heresy to be baited into breaching forum rules....

Why would being free give the setting and rules information inside the book a pass? Given that it contains the rules for several clans, are we to just accept the fundamental and massive alterations to those clans?...

I specifically said Cosmic Horror, if I wanted christian horror, the real actions and followers of that faith give more than enough, it was the unknowns outside reality, possibly the same unknowns the nephandi dealt with, possibly something totally other that grabbed me, the judeo christian DtF demons really don't have the same impact....

Since Oblivion is a branch of necromancy now, and deals with the shadowlands abyss not the far umbra... that possibility is gone, their are no demons at the far end of Oblivion any more, that mystery is solved, it's just like in wraith, Cosmic Horror is banned in V5, you know that. So nope, they don't know any demons, unless they have gone out of clan to find them....

I thought I mentioned outside of crusade, my bad. Yes they do indulge in shovel head creation, as part of mass embrace attacks. But get with the program or get turned into a novelty pipe for.the cathedral organ kicks in then....

All Banu Haqim are sorcerer caste now. Their disciplines dictate that it's a matter of education not Blood Line as to whether you have rituals or not.

Given how picky they used to be about the embrace, those ideas where for neonates....

I don't like them as a theme, at all, nothing published about them ever makes them sound interesting. If I remade them, we have that, it is the Sabbat.

The guys plural who broke Anarchs for me took it from, I don't want to play one to I don't want to be in the same game as one....

Disagree on the Anarchs, but you knew that.

On the transcendence thing. that's half of the point, and it seperates the poseurs who are actually on humanity from those on paths, and yet even those on paths are probably not transcending in any meaningful way, they are no longer holding even shreds of what they were as mortals, but what they are now is likely just a monsterous being with blue and orange morality (and that is fine and fun)...

    1) The point of Cyberpunk is raging against the night in a doomed rebellion. The point of the Anarchs is doing the same, (And yes, some sabbat buy into this as well, they are called shovel heads) which is...actually not that interesting or fun Religious war, the games of ages, the transcendence of the lie of humanity, that's interesting . If I wanted a doomed rebellion kind of game CP Red does it better, as does Eclipse Phase (and that one actually does some kinds of Horror better as well, it's an awesome setting I highly recommend) and earlier editions of ShadowRun.

    2) Agreed. I...
