I think I have seen that in an earlier thread here and oddly that's roughly what I'm hoping to run. A couple of new wraiths break free of their cauls on the Titanic shortly after it sinks and get to run around trying to work out what's going on while interacting with the various drones that have started popping up, along with other wraiths still in their cauls before finally running into a Spectre from their mutual lives.
I was thinking of having a scene where they get back to the cabin of one of the pcs and might look through the shroud to see one of their fetters, but now if I've got it...

Awesome thanks. I wasn't aware of Blood Dimmed Tides so that looks like something I should go and check out.
    Cheers!

  • Drop the society of Leopold an anonymous tip that you've found another one.
That seems to be all the rage these days .
Or find another way to hit it during the day and force it to waste resources, or ideally change location to fend off mundane issues before you turn up.

Can you trap it indoors? Would need planning and a way to lure it into your windowless, sealed entrance kill box, but it gets rid of the flight issue.

  • Clearly she is mad and the best way you can help her is to make her see the world more clearly in the way only a fellow Malkavian can.
Take the bat away and hold it hostage/threaten it/swap it for an identical one until she realises that voices in your head don't come from baseball bats, but from God/sky fairies/a deeper understanding of nature. After all, if you don't then eventually someone or something else will do best to get it over and done with in controlled conditions.

Other than that wards are the first thing that spring to mind as MyWifeIsScary says above. Can't think...

    Underwater Fetters

After many many years of having a vague interest in Wraith I've finally got the chance to run a game.
One thing that I'm sure you wise people will know is, is there anything special about a fetter that falls into the sea, say the wraith died in a shipping accident?
Assuming the physical item survives the trip is it accessible to the wraith? I know there's the sea in the shadowlands, but can wraiths walk along the sea bed, or would the fetter be out of reach, or appear in the tempest or something else weird?

I pretty much agree with everything you've got in there and as you say there's not a lot of difference between your view and Black Fox's.
Where I think I see it differently though is the idea that's there's a worthwhile "Faction" called the anarchs. Sure elders get toppled and new domains set up trying their own style of governance, but they're not part of some worldwide organisation. They're so fractured between these idealists, criminals and so on that they could never pose a serious threat and would either fold back into the cam within a few decades, or sit on the fringes being...

I think I'd quite like it if the Sabbat do get the big kicking that's been shown so far go back to being the monsters in bedtime stories. The whole idea of two or three big factions having a global war always felt a bit weird and out of touch with the basic setting.
I'd much rather have the camarilla as a distributed, badly connected network of domains that can call on help from each other if needed, but aren't usually in regular communication. On the edges of this you have the anarchs, who are usually ancilla blowing off steam for a couple of decades until they grow up, someone with connections...
