  • Yeah I mean, one of the main benefits of doning a death mask and becoming a Reaper it's because you become an insanely powerful ghost, much stronger than most ghosts that exist in the great below, so it really comes in a certain point to the Reaper's own motives and goals that they probably coudln't reach as a common ghost. Maybe the Reaper wants to get revenge on a merchant king of some river city that abused her when she was weaker, maybe she wants to search for more death masks to create some sort of reaper guild, etc.

I get this feeling that whatever malicious intelligence rules...

  • I have a question about rank advancement for Geists. I've seen someone answer here that advancing the Rank doesn't increase the other attributes of he Geist, but I also wanted to ask if that also apllies to when the players buys the Dread Geist merit. If it does does that mean that Dread Geist just raises the Rank at the beggining of play for the purposes of acting as a bane to Rank1-2 ghosts? Also, since Geists increase Rank by resolving theur Remembrance, you don't have to raise all your attributes to the minimum of the next one like a normal ghost, right?

Yeah second edition didn't really tells us a whole lot about other supernaturals in the underworld, but I think some of what's said in Book of the Dead from the frist edition coud still be applied if you contextualize it within the second edition underworld. If I remember well, all Eidagusto said is right about vamps inside the underworld, there's no sun, so they don't run the risk or damage by sunlight, and they don't have to daysleep either.

Blood's hard to come by, they can find some dripping from the ceiling and stand there with their mouths open like Eidagusto said. I suppose...

  • Well, on my group we didn't focus on the Court Oaths because we already started to play inside our respective Courts and never really felt like developing the Oath we swore to them, we did however recently swore our Motley Oath and I can give you that as an example we swore to "never ever deny help for other motley members when directly and expressly asked for" and we didn't say anything regarding the consequences and content of the help demanded by the other motley members because we wanted to leave room for some narrative drama (we also named our Motley Rogue Patrol because our...

The player's mages were there because they had learned that a Pylon of Seers who believed to be some kind of heirs to the sorcerer-king who waged war at HelĂȘnica millenia ago, had infiltrated Tha'egan's cult to awaken her and use her to destroy New Walkkaria, gradually convincing the other cult members thorugh magic and manipulaton that the city had become corrupted and needed to be cleansed by their Queen, while simultaneously trying to steal the Relic containing their long-dead sorcerer-king's magic for themselves.

Throughout the Chronicle, the players managed to identify and expose...

Well, I haven't actually played a Mummy-exclusive campaign, but I did roleplay a major storyteller mummy character for my players at our Mage Chronicle, in wich one of the main polt points involved the Mummy and her Cult.

To give it some context, we were playing at a homebrew scenario, on a Wakandan-like nation called New Walkkaria. The Mummy was called Tha'egan, and millenia before this chronicle, she used to be a lover and occult advisor for the ancient Queen of the original Walkkaria City, HelĂȘnica. This Queen was at war with another kingdom led by a Sorcerer-King (an Awakened...
