Yeah the rules are kinda restrictiv which is why its always good to keep in mind that rules in PNP are more like guidelines. If you and your table think its more fun to play Scion: Dragon as a spin off of American Dragon go for it,
But to be honest it fits the setting. The Dragons are not the Big Players in the world of scion at the moment. As such keeping to the sidelines is their best option. Also it reminds me of those Higher Dragons from some old D&D games who were more like Giant Lizard wizards then mere beasts.

Thanks for the explanation.
Seems a bit complicated. But then then again the payoff seems quite good.
Altough i must say that there is in some cases not enough distinction between the awareness purview and its "normal" counterpart.

Did i get understand it right that Mythos Scions have both legend and Awareness?
Also is it just me or do seem most of the innate powers a bit weak.
