Effectively, my interest was in having the tomb in Rome's downtown. If the mummy inhabiting it, is Gaius himself or another mummy that seized control of his tomb is the same for me.
The character personality is a manipulative politician. If it's Gaius or someone else who stole his identity and tomb to assert control in Rome is still fine for me.
I'll provide character's details

In Rome - Italy is really a pyramid in the middle of the city.
The pyramid was built around the 12 B.C. for a famous tribune of those days: Caio Cestio Epulone. Hence its name "Cestia Pyramid".
In that age, Egypt was a province of Rome and its customs was the fashion of the moment. The rich tribune commissioned a pyramid as his future burial place.
The task had to be fulfilled by his sons within an year from his death or they would have lost the rich inheritance. The pyramid was completed even earlier. Miracle of money god.
