  • w20 basically says that those are the only types that can succeed all other banes just fail to connect.

That is a thought, It would neatly match up with some of the other ideas. And if Saulot Completed as part of his enlightenment...

Hmm you know if we want to go super crossover happy, look at Ferrymen. They Split themselves completely into two individuals. Perhaps this is part of Saulot's plan?...

Instead you'd have the vast majority of garou being people who've never been outside the Caern until their first change. Honestly I think Forsaken has it if you want to drop the sexual taboo....

Forsaken have ALOT of differences from Garou though, most notably two Forsaken doesn't 100 percent make a new werewolf. They don't have Rage to separate them, they infact have a drive to form "packs" that readily include other outter tiers....

While the specifics aren't there I've long said there's an odd amount of similarity between the Fallen and the Kithain and Especially the Hsien. They each have theirown mechanics this is true and theirown methods of body taking, but one could readily see Glamour as akin to Faith(and Yugen is even more so) mind you they have completely different stories of how the world was in ancient times so you'll need to decide a level of compromise but I could readily see them being the Same sort of creature before some point in the ancient past.

  • Seems like its a Simulation mechanic. You are what you eat. the Curse of Caine reacts to the what sort of mortals are eaten....

  • That been reversed signficantly.

Wyrm 20, page 141: Vampires are hard to possess. Perhaps the Curse of
Caine is such a potent form of damnation that any lesser
affliction has trouble taking root; perhaps it has something
to do with vampires already being dead. Whatever
the reason, very few Banes can find any purchase in a
vampire’s pale and withered soul. Those that do tend to
be Banes of blood and madness, and they can make a
vampire’s unlife very short and very unpleasant indeed.
Detailed below are two examples of the kind...

  • Nah the Hollow Earth is serious business. That's why being a Etherite is apparently so Banal you can't buy any Fae related merits(Stupid book of secrets)...

  • But you won't be manipulated by elders like Sascha Vykos. I mean s/he highly respected and not obeying him/her would be death and s/he is super humanly intelligent so as to craft such things without you knowin but s/he promises s/he is not manipulating you. Promise! And we totally killed our antedeluvians but hate the Tremere for killng someone elses anteldeluvian!...

No, well you might with naming 5 but... that's kind of a grey area....

  • Well Valeren and Dragon Tears have alot in common(and somethings they don't) but Dragon Tears basically functions as both a Chi and Demon art. So consider the possibility Saulot has Healer and Demon Valeren( warrior being made later by his childer)...

  • The Technocracy didn't blow up Enoch. The Heirarchy did. They used the Relic Nuke from Hiroshima on it. The Technocracy nuked(and lasered) Ravnos which did some stuff to the Dreaming and broke a bunch of prophesies.

At the same time an unrelated Void Engineer tried to drop a nuke on a the mouth of Oblivion.

Really what makes the "Week of Nightmares" almost farcical is the "ALL METAPLOT HITS THE FAN AT THE SAME TIME" for fucks sake I think that was the week the Caern fell that caused the the stargazers to leave. Also this caused Hunter and Demon....

  • Generally Po reattach to their Hun SO the Kindred would be kind of screwed being possessed functionally by half a ghost. I imagine it would be all sorts of bad for them on any path..

There is some Mention in Winds from the East that Wu Zao have "half" the teachings if someone could complete the training for a Kindred with Valeren they could become a KJ....

  • I'd argue the Revised "U-turn" is less of that and more making it obvious. I mean "Tremere is just Saulot's skinsuit" has been a floating plot point since the earliest books.

Its used as a short hand for Mehune and Nunnehei. Fae types who have connections to the Umbra in place of connections to humanity there are distinct advantages and disadvantages gone over in the books. Theoretically other Gallain might fall under said situations or not....

  • KOTE are humans, humans trying not to be human(outside a certain heresy). Honestly though even mechanically there seems to be points of similarity between Hsien, Kithain, Gallain and the Fallen. Were I to have Changelings and Fallen in the same chronicle I'd totally let them effect Fallen like they were Gallain and let the players make their own conclusions....

  • Hunger is like the Avatar Storm, not something that's meant to be eternal but rather a byproduct of their metaplot point. Its still horrible and doesn't do what is intended and basically ruins much of how people played Vampire before(...much like the Avatar storm) but the "how does this work in Sabbat cities" and "how did this get past the Second city" don't really matter because this is a relatively new situation....
