A bit nsfw, but an artist I really like who does really trans-inclusive works (smut and otherwise) proudly debuted a new character who is a ‘trap,’ a man feminine enough to trick straight people into sleeping with him. It’s an older trope, and one based almost entirely on gross stereotypes - either of gay men as tricksters who prey on straights or as trans women being men in disguise - and one with enough history that assholes online still refer to trans women by it often. I laid all this out, and they agreed with it all... but said they thought the idea was hot anyway, and left with a sort...

The best TV shows are written with an ending and run for a season or two.

    Wish more folks understood that....

“I understand that what I’m doing is bad, and has its roots in a lot of really horrible stereotypes that continue to hurt real people today. But I want to do it in my art anyway, because I think it’s hot!”

When you have to stop pretending someone you idolize isn’t terrible because they’ve made it too hard to ignore.

    Cis people, sometimes.

Wrote a mini RPG supplement about transgender characters and their place in the world, and I’ve been passing it around for feedback. This one guy has told me less than three times now that I need to add a section on magical sex toys.

My first draft is now done, and someone did a test layout for me that feels pretty crazy to say.

The supplement is now named Blessed of The Traveler.

Among all the PF fun, WotC just announced that Eberron is getting a 12-session Adventurer’s League season, to be later collected as one big module, complete with rules for level-0 characters on a prologue session.

So glad to see them supporting the setting.

I just want to chime in for a second and say oh my god I love Eberron so much. The entire world has so much thought put into it and I want to use almost every bit in a game.

And if a sex change is your idea of punishment that teaches a lesson... well.

On the topic, though: I wrote a common magic item that’s a necklace that allows a limited Disguise Self on the wearer that just alters gendered appearance by their choice, established the existence of herbs that work like hormone treatments do here, and written up a level 1 transmutation ritual that effects permanent changes to the body.

Really good. I actually thought about giving Vadalis a hand in transition stuff.

(Wanna see my draft so far for everything?)...

I’m scared folks are gonna be like “that’s a True Polymorph effect, you can’t make that readily available!”...

Is there any magical way to change your sex in 5e, short of True Polymorph?

If only there was some way we could’ve had some ideas for how to improve the game after 3.5 🤔...

I have a crush on every member of the party.

Being a DM for a group of lesbians is rough.

Yeah, so I’m definitely working on this Eberron thing. Hope I can stick it out and write it all.

I hate when you tell a story and in doing so realise the event was pretty horribly abusive.

Oh gosh, that would be fun! I talked to Keith about the subject once and he gave some interesting pointers regarding how warforged, changeling, and kalashtar approach gender (very, very briefly mentioned in the new book), and we talked about how Houses Jorasco and Vadalis might be able to offer magical/medical transition services. I could try to do more with that.

I’m more likely to polish my idea for a sahuagin-focused murder mystery or do a city setting, honestly....
