Oh, this is sad. In the revised edition they diluted it with Gnosticism, right?...

Yes, real Egyptian deity Set has nothing to do with snake, I meant highest levels of Serpentis, like Typhonic Beast or Divine Image. As for me, I absolutely against mixing vampires with gods....

And what about Serpentis? Antediluvian managed discipline to look like iconographic image of chosen god?

    Gods and Methuselahs

    Hi folks,

How do you deal with vampires like Set, Mithras, Tiamat, Ta-urt? Were they the original creatures who were worshiped like gods or just usurp gods' names?

    Names of the Hierophants

The Setites are enemies of all Egyptian Gods except Set, right? But names of their Hierophants still praise them, for example Maatkare - True counterpart of Re. I didn't find such egyptian name like Seterpenre, but we have name Setepenre - “Chosen of Re”, Nakhthorheb or Nectanebo - "Strong is Horus of Hebit". Names had very important, religious and ritualistic meaning in Acient Egypt, I belive even if Hierophants have such names when were still alive, they would take new names after Embrace. What do you think?
