You make a single decisive attack roll that's compared against each individual's Defense....

If I'm running a game, the running across a copperhead in the woods isn't something I'm going to use the combat rules for - it's just not something that I think is worth that much time and focus. I'd probably treat it as a trap - give them a (Perception + [Awareness or Survival]) roll to avoid it, but if they fail, they've gotta resist the poison with (Stamina + Resistance). Since they're not in combat, the Initiative-based poison traits for snake venom won't apply, I'd probably come up with something that does lethal damage over an interval of hours. Exact stats could vary with the type of s...

I'm not currently planning a "one size fits all" mechanic for rage. It manifests through your Charms, and thus your choices in building your character will dictate how it manifests. What works for Cu Chulainn doesn't work for Anansi....

Anything I say now is gonna be speculative, so probably not that helpful an answer. I've got lots of specific ideas, but need to see how they'll hold up in playtesting....

Thanks to this question, I'm gonna stick in a note that they count as Excellencies for that purpose.

Yes. Creating a diverse variety of combat options is a very important design goal for Lunars....

Creating an army of mortal soldiers isn't something I'd let sorcery do. You'll want to use social influence to recruit, and War to train.

Creating supernatural monsters comparable to a First Circle Demon en masse? Call that a Storyteller call between an Ambition 3 Celestial working and an Ambition 1 Solar working....

    Nah.

    It's pretty damn cool.

Mata-Yadh is a bit more powerful than a Second Circle Demon. Probably a Solar working with Ambition 2-3....

Intimacies have absorbed the role of Virtues more or less completely. I'm not sure if that's very useful for the Sidereal Charms that let you channel Virtues for really odd things, but it might help with raksha....

I suspect Dragon-Blooded will be an outlier in that respect. My current outline of the Lunar Charm set, for example, only has two proprietary keywords....

Starting at Essence 1 is a good assumption for almost everyone, albeit not a universal one.

The rare God-Blooded that have mote pools (including player characters) almost certainly will.

    Undetermined.

I believe it was based on their Essence calculations in past editions, assuming optimal Virtue ratings and whatnot....

Empowering Shout and Favor-Conferring Prana doesn't count towards the dice limit because it specifies it's a non-Charm bonus, but the bonus dots granted by them (or any other magic) don't raise dice caps.

Yep. The mote cost of any Charm is is always committed for its duration (unless it has an Instant or Permanent duration).

    Nope!...

Thunderclap Rush gives you a free move that explicitly doesn't count as your movement action. Nimble Reaving Wind lets you use your reflexive move without being subject to requirements for disengaging. Two different effects....

The wording "allows a reroll of any Stealth-based action," along with its Reflexive type, suggests to me that Perfect Shadow Stillness is used after the roll, not before. I guess that's a caveat to my broader statement....

I believe the reference to an "exceptional manse" refers to a five-dot manse, which is described as "raised atop an exceptionally powerful demesne."...
