  • Both Hope and the need to categorize things were put there by the Maker for a Reason. They are essential to our nature as created beings. Horror is the active absence of the Hope we of mankind should have in our souls and spirits. Everything you feel is there for a reason. So I would ask what is your Reason for feeling Horror, eh? Human beings are more than flesh and bone, soul and mind. We are spirit.

  • This may be an inept suggestion on my part, but here I go: make the supposed Slasher a creature of Fae origin since he is all dream-stalker and whatnot. They wouldn't see that coming when they shoot him and the bullets do nothing to him or something cuz Contracts or whatever they are called now. (I really need to read up on Changeling 2.0)

  • Some light reading all the way back in the beginning of this current decade that is about to end? I can assure you, Sean d'Arc, that much has indeed improved and I recommend that you go from Depth 1 to Depth 7 in your exposure to Leviathan. When I first read it, it was appallingly short and helter-skelter, but now it is more fully fleshed out and readable with an interesting tone that reminds me of a hot summer day on Florida's Forgotten Coast....

  • This fansplat is shaping up rather well is all I can say. It was a true pleasure to come across alongside Moochava's Genius: the Transgression. I would dare say that the two splats would go well together in a common setting if you replace the Marduk Society with the Inspired.

  • I would like to point out that Leviathan: the Tempest would actually fit in really well with a piratical campaign. I mean just look at Davy Jones from PotC 2 & 3: you could have a pirate captain who looks a bit off or completely monstrous surrounded by a crew of cultist-pirates who worship him/her. A Thallasan who follows the School of Clay would be a pretty good choice for such a character concept.
