That is actually the crux of the adventure, in my mind. Players will have to determine who deserves what - and honestly, most of the potential antagonists have at least a reasonable case to make for their point of view. The ambiguity is interesting, and definitely seems likely to challenge players....

I used the Sidereal once - she was basically a 1-shot wonder - hit the archer PC, and ran. Stilled nearly died as the more Melee oriented PCs found ways to close with her.
She did hurt her target, but not enough to kill him.
The PCs developed such a vendetta against her, they were willing to sell their integrity to get artifacts to let them fight her.
    But so fragile!

The Shikari were much tougher, and that fight ended in a fairly savage draw, with both parties retreating.

I'll add my praise of this - it's a good adventure, with plenty of hooks that can be spun int a longer campaign. There are the consequences of the players' actions directly, but also strong hooks in the various intimacies the characters have, and their backstories.
My intention is to treat Teo as representing a class of lesser fire elementals - not so much immature gardas, but rather garda wannabes. That gives me more utility - I'm already needing a ton of new elementals at lower essence for my players.

One of my players has the same issue - so far for small Size units, it's been Major projects. When it gets to much more than size 3, I agree with the single Superior project.
As for 'just buying them' - sometimes you are forging a band of barbarians in the howling wastes into an elite fighting force - there is no one who can/will sell you a thousand swords out on the tundra...but you can build a smelter and a forge, and organize teams to scour the bogs and fens for bog-iron, and then turn that into steel, and so forth.
Not that this has not come up

Thanks Robert Vance! This is super timely, and incredibly useful - the additional information about hearthstones not losing their power when used in vehicles just made my Twilight's day.
Thanks again, and I look forward to Arms, Antagonists, and the Bestiary and everything else!
    Cheers,
    Joshua...

I like the Ocean Exigent idea, however, I totally agree with the Eclipse approach. It feels the most right to me, with the Ocean as a powerful Ally - she is all about connecting people and forging new paths, which feels like the heart of what the Eclipse are about.
I totally agree that Maui is the most Lunar that ever Lunar'd - everything about him screamed a burly Changing Moon who lost his nerve.

I really need to do a true ocean themed game someday.

    Hi Eric & Robert,
    Congratulations and best of luck!

My campaign is using aerial vehicles fairly heavily, and we are reaching the point where opponents are likely to be using fairly advanced stuff (though not always in large numbers. In previous editions, artifact vehicles often required one or more hearthstones to power them.
Would you comment on whether that is likely to remain true?
I'm not sure it really fits with the philosophy of this edition, but I am also pretty conditioned to previous editions.

    Thanks and congratulations again!
