Awake, with all the world's knowledge pumped through you in an instant, mighty, you looked on the works of man and despaired, for you knew immediately your mission was hopeless. This world could not be protected, could not be saved. Not as it was.

You see the truth, now. To save the world, you have to change it. It must adapt, must evolve, even if it doesn't want to. Especially if it doesn't want...

  • Vampire: Sparkles, Roofie-Eyes, Vlad (really, any fictional vampire popular enough they'll probably get the reference), TruBlood, kindling.

    Werewolf: Yiff, Rover, Squirrel-Chaser, Lassie.

Mage: D&D Reject, Aquaman/Namor (referencing the Atlantis thing).

  • My Twin Cities has a nightclub/bar run by a Daeva as a sort of "free feeding ground" for other Daeva. It's pretty standard nightlife place, with the rule that vampires cannot use Disciplines inside (since two dozen Daeva all having Awe up would be perma-cock-blocking each other). Then, in my version of Gotham City, there's the Red Rose, a strip club owned by a Daeva. Another Daeva in the Twin Cities owns an art gallery.

Basically, I feel like an "ideal Daeva building" would be whatever tickled that particular Daeva's fancy, caught and held their attention long...

  • I actually have an NPC, Ash Corwin, as Ghost Rider-influenced Bound in my ChroD game, as a sort of mentor to the Geist PC (even though he's kind of bad at it). I toyed with the idea of making the motorcycle the Keystone Memento, but ultimately decided it just didn't fit (I want the Ghost Rider Geist to be a lot older), so went with the chain, which obviously can be lit on fire. I also gave him the Phantasmal Key and Marionette Manifestation, with the house rule that, instead of the Bound going comatose and manifesting their Geist, the Bound physically becomes their Geist, allowing Ash to actually...

  • This is an AWESOME thread. Great work.

I've been into White Wolf's stuff since. . . I think the second edition of Vampire: The Masquerade (got into it when Waldenbooks, when they were still a thing, gave my mom a Jyhad starter set because she was part of their discount/loyalty program), and I've been following the games ever since. Having recently gotten a new job and having the potential of getting my long-paused ChroD chronicle up and running again soon, I've bought the book you're reading now (just waiting for it to get here). It'll be interesting to see what I think when I sit...
