    So for fun I tried making a Lunar Full Moon Viking Berserker/ Fury Warrior but could only find two animals with the berserker trait. What gives?

    And why does the bear has the berserker trait when the Northren Ursia does not? And why not dinos or sea animals? Can we expect more berserker animals? and will there be berserker animals that aren't mammals?

    or just in a larger context will there be more animals that synegizes with lunar protean keyword?

  • I made some attempts at porting over the 2nd scroll of kings traps. Thank you to Sandact6 for inspiration. Traps of exalted 3e


    Traps work like environmental hazards which can normally be avoided using Perception+Awareness. Feel free to use Detection rules below. Also the construction for crafters or survival based trappers.
    Construction: What abilities are needed to construct the trap.
    Detection: A difficulty on how hard it is to detect the trap, usually done with Perception+Awareness roll. Surprise Anticipation Method also detects traps. Artifact traps get +2 to...

    Reminds of reading about Caerjon. A twin or clone Creation which has made by a Primodial they different want to play with his brothers and sisters.

    The world ended by being burned but UCS whom set the world eternally aflame, since it was lost to the wyld. Stuff like a think could be interesting for high Exalts to find in the Wyld. But finding random low dot artifacts I would be against. The wyld is not a mere slotmachine.

  • Love the reference.

    I am currenlty playing a crafter so I have started thinking about what would trap an Exalt whom had some resistance and defenses against the most obvious traps like pits and deadfalls.

    These posts makes me think more supernatural. May be fun to try....

    The book you are looking is called "The Scrolls of Esoteric wisdom, Vol 3: Scroll of Fallen Races".

    If I were to make a list today on top of my mind, I have the following thoughts
    I believe they have some First Age tech. Like utility artifact dot 1 and 2. They also could have essence cannon and trains, but it has to say since we dont have any official material for them in 3e.

    From 2nd I could metion:
    Common military techs used to be mechanised repeating crossbows and flamethrowers.
    other stuff was pyromantic gel and synthetic leather.

    Am a right right I assuming that there rules what exceptional equipment does (core book p. 580), but there no rules for how you make them?

    Could it be done by just adding a flat difficulty increase?

  • yearh traps are cool. Also a proven tool the ST (and DM's) arsenal.

    As a ST I really like non-lethal traps like catapulting your players away from eachother ahead of combat. Or a harmless bear trap in the middle of dangerous, hostile territory or in a chase....

  • Look out for traps!! Looking for stuff on traps both cannon and fanmade

    So 2nd Ed had a system of traps in scroll of kings. Is there something like that in 3rd Ed?

    Would traps fall under larceny or survival for the purpose of Solar Charms? (I lean towards Survival) or may there be a crunch difference between making traps and hiding them (so trapmaking is craft)?

    I never did try the 2nd Ed trap system. Can it be recommend?...
