    So we still need Scorpion, Toad, and Lizard. Granted, Solar Resistance is pretty much Toad, and Solar Athletics is pretty much Lizard insofar as they appear in the film....

    Was there a centipede style somewhere that I missed? The only style of the venom mob in Exalted I can think of is Snake....

    Yeah, they specifically were going for a two dot artifact. They looked at the collar but they specifically wanted something in a similar vein that could change. So we kept the cleanliness part (mostly) and swapped the disease resistance for versatility. Shapeshifting clothes was their idea based on a similar item in Pathfinder, I Exalted-ed it up with the item bonus and additional flourishes. Player is really pleased with the result.

    I'm starting up a new game later this week and one of my players wanted a cool, useful artifact but didn't want a weapon or armor and didn't care for any of the other wonders that have been printed. Since he wanted to play a schmoozing, social character this is what I've come up with so far. I haven't finished all the flavor stuff, but I've got the crunch at least moderately working. But I'm kinda terrible at crunch, so I'd appreciate input.

    In the particulars of the game I'm starting up now, the players wants to use a fighting chain but doesn't want to be an Ebon Shadow stylist, so it's comparatively short on the tags as far as MA weapons go. The only thing it has that other melee weapons don't is the "Grappling" tag....

    Got a question that I'm kinda surprised took so long to come up in my game. The Martial Arts tag for weapons states that it the weapon must be used by an applicable style. With the currently available styles that makes things really limiting. For example, a Fighting Chain currently, RAW, can only be used by an Ebon Shadow martial artist (Unless there's a new style in the DB book I missed.)

    Does anything break if you were to permit such weapons to be used with Melee? If not, how would you handle things like a grapple? Would you allow Melee to be their opposed role, or would you still...

  • I'm fairly certain the Cathedral of Sublime Annihilation was another overt mecha reference, specifically Heavy Arms' Endless Waltz variant.

    And on the behemoth thing, while none of them are explicitly behemoths, a bunch of the creatures in HDNP either already have legendary size or have the little "and here's how you make it legendary size" blurb...
