  • That's one of the bits cribbed straight from DB (Burning Fury Wreath, WFHW pg 225)...

  • Resonant: Derp. Brain am dumb. Easy enough to fix.

Fury Knows No Bounds: I did intend for it to play nice with Righteous Devil, which is why I added the "this counts as a flame weapon" but that only helps my players. Is there a better way you can think of to word that that makes it more readily apparent?
Asphodel: OH holy shit, yes. That absolutely is something I want to incorporate! I let the player take a 1 dot mentor that'd be narratively work a bit more like Whispers in 1e and 2e (you don't actually talk to the weapon, but there is a level of intuitive communication.)...

  • Bitter Fury (Soulsteel Reaper Daiklaive) [PEACH]

A player had an idea for an artifact for their character that'll be joining my Western game, and while they had a core concept they wanted they gave me pretty much free reign to flesh it out as I saw fit. This is the result so far!

    Couple things.
First, yes, these are mostly reskinned and tweaked Dragonblooded charms. My brain am dumb at creating mechanics so it's much, much easier for me to build off of an existing framework.
Second, the description wasn't originally full of impenetrable Japanese terminology. I was just using the terms for things that were specific to...

Looking for Eye of the Fire Dragon (3E)

I recall there was discussion a while ago about how to convert the Eye of the Fire Dragon to 3E, and I tried searching for it but the search function failed me.

Would anyone be able to point me either to the relevant thread(s) or maybe link a solid fan conversion?

Yeah, it's not nearly as bad as EX3. But it's been a fair bit worse than WFHW, the only other frame of reference we have....

Which is all reasonable speculation, but my point continues to be that that's all it is. Speculation. There hasn't been any readily available updates stating scheduling pushed it to the holidays or the holidays pushing it back further. Not in MMN, nor in the backer updates....

My frame of reference is WFHW. The Kickstarter completed in April of 18 and we had the backer PDF that following December.

It's certainly possible Lunars has been a much more complicated book than DB, but if that's the case I haven't seen that communicated anywhere. All I know right now is we're about a year out from the Lunars KS and presumably layout is going to be at bare minimum another month....

Which is grand, but that's something I expect to be a year out at least, and the only Exalted thing that got a bolded change of status in ages was the DB novella. As much as I'm looking forward to Essence, I'd much prefer anything approaching clarity on when we might expect to see a Lunars backer PDF, or the early pdfs for AotR or HDNP....

Yeah, it'd be a job. The building itself would more or less be a bookshop.

As for the rest, no arches, and the obligatory immaculate temple....

Architecture would lean medieval European Town with a healthy splash of ancient rome...

One of my players has taken control of a small city in the Hundred Kingdoms. The only hard established traits are current a manor house on the north end, a field hospital at the west, and a town's center with at least a well, a tavern, and a scribe. The town is named. "Hovelton."

No hot gay dads I can think of, but if you'd like to add any they shall be added to my game.

I am quite familiar with Discord. Not knowing how to search isn't the problem, I'm fully familiar with the search function. But unlike, say, the MMN which are static, easy to locate, and can be pulled up in a browser for reading at your leisure, even sifting down to only Minton or Vance's posts still doesn't narrow it down further to only development related content. There's only 4235 posts from Minton in the General channel alone, and in the first thirty so (at time of typing]) only one or two are development related.

And sometimes Discord is inaccessible, or immensely inconvenient....

    I appreciate the insight.

That said, Discord moves so fast and isn't always accessible to everyone. Answer questions in the moment, sure, but it's a REALLY shifty way to keep a fan base at large. Unless you're looking at the chat at the exact moment, there's mountains of chaff to sift through....

If you want the most water aspect-y water aspect, i recommend The Celebrated Cases of Judge Dee.

A Hero Born, the first book in the Condor Heros wuxia novels finally got an official English translation, too.

My favorites are Abyssals and Alchemicals, though I understand why those come later. That's not the source of what bugs me.

The PDF we have of Lunars is miserable to use and even though it's taking a good bit longer we have no real communication as to what's going on.
Exigents or the STs guide are essential tools for effectively emulating pretty much everything else, including the brand new to this edition entire Exalt types and we have little to know communication about what's going on there.
We're still waiting on Heirs, as well stated by prior posters.
    This one...
