  • No. It's been in art direction for over a year, I think.

    It's...late.

    It's also a book I'm eagerly awaiting.

I didn't say I lost my fun in gaming. I...literally never said that.

And these forums cover all editions, right? Including the ones I was so fond of years ago(and have most recently played). And I'm extremely curious in how new WW handles 5th edition(and so far, I'm pretty stoked for it). There's probably a dozen other reasons while I'm still around, besides those two important ones.

And I'm always down with the "punching up," down with the man, and fight the power feelings of the old WW books. The most recent ones, however, have much more added political and...

Mister Miracle and Batman: White Knight might very well be the best comics released this year.

    So freaking good....

Now? Port St. Lucie, FL. Haven't gamed in a bit, though. Had a number of great gamers to play with over the last 15-20 years(I'm almost 40 now). Not many gamers left in my area and it's very difficult to find time; and I also find myself weening quite a bit from the Onyx Path model of games and the current political climate(injecting politics into everything). I know there have always been politics in gaming and culture stretching back two decades, but I also used a lot less sugar in my coffee than I do now. Escapism is not really an escape for me, anymore.

    Which is fine.

    What the fuck?

It's because the stories are shit, 99% of their characters act like prepubescent teens(and nothing at all like their characters), every month is an event, the prices are out of control, they couldn't keep a MONTHLY artist if their lives depended on it, and Axel Alonso is quite possibly the worst EiC in the company's history....

I love superheroes. Always have, always will.

Probably why I love Werewolf the Apocalypse so much as, to me, it's the best WoD game to use when I feel the need to play a superhero style game(with a bit more blood and gore of course).

Mage works well, too I guess. But spandex and Mage being combined is kind of like mixing oil and water. At least it FEELS that way.

With that said, I am sad. Sad, because I feel as if superheroes are dying when it comes to Marvel. DC is doing some great things, but I've never had a big interest in their characters. Marvel was...

Agreed from what I've heard about the new one. I remember seeing trailers for the original. Kinda made it out to be an action flick. When I finally saw it, it definitely threw me off a bit. Sets and scenery are still amazing. But it is just so...damn plodding slow.

I did hear the new one is long, but definitely paced well....

I'm hearing some great things about the new Blade Runner from various people whose opinions I value.

The first Blade Runner does not hold up well at all. The movie is slow, uninteresting, and a chore to get through at times. Rutger Hauer's performance is still fantastic, though....

To many, Thanksgiving promotes family bonding, getting together with people you don't normally see, and eating some fantastic food.

So despite the horrific actions surrounding its origins, to me and millions of other families, the holiday stands for something positive.

Just don't crap on me(not saying YOU are) for using the holiday as a positive celebration of the things I love most: family bonding(especially for some family members who are thousands of miles away), and food.

On Columbus Day, I'm in agreement. And it's definitely lost something...

  • Matthew is currently my favorite game writer.

He knows the material, pays homage to previous editions, concepts and characters, and never strongly inserts his own political agenda and/or bias while STILL writing with same concepts(fighting the man and punching UP) and themes old White Wolf was known for. It's his stuff that reminds me of the WW games that I fell in love with all those years ago.

    He definitely deserves it.

I look forward to more Action Bill references in the future : P
