  • Still Looking for a Demon the Descent Game

Hey now that the game is fully out. I wanted to know if anyone is looking for a player ?

I'm looking for a game or skype or something else but not play by post. I have been GMing RPG's for some time. I find demon the decent really interesting and would love to get a chance to play it.

I am not running a Demon game I'm afraid, though I would if I had the time. The main issue at the moment is dual campaigns and plenty of players lined up already, otherwise I'd take you up on it (provided our preferences as for type of game etc actually matched up).

And yes, my apologies, it might seem pointless to reply only to say no, but I didn't want this thread to be ignored entirely, or for you to believe no one read it

There might be a chat coming up with a game eventually, if you like that kind of thing.

I would imagine that, even though the book is already out, it would take some time for people to read and digest it before there would be a sufficient mass of people looking to run and play on the forums. It's quite meaty.

Enough people expressing interest in a game may attract an ST. Or annoy people it could go both ways.

Story of my life. I'd like to play the damn game before I come up with a plot that my players will happily tear apart. (I'm not STing yet anyway because I'm waiting for the non-core books and documents, particularly the stuff about Infrastructure. I would really like to get that right, as I don't have a good idea how to deal with Infrastructure by myself.)

Sure, I'm interested. What times were you considering.

Give me the story seed you want to use, I'll try to create someone appropriate.

Well for me. I Enjoy running a sand box / Story type game. Were there are many stories going around around you and you have your own. So just write up and make a character and I run it for you

Oh oh. If you leave it that open I know I'll create a character who's plan and mental pathology is so complex I won't know how to play him.

Or you could make a character you find interesting that exists in the world of darkness and explore it but ok. Hmmm

                          Location: NYC

The city that never sleeps. Its ever sleeps just like the god machine always watching and controlling everything here. You can find anything here if you look hard enough but what you find you might not always want. The God machine has been building something big in the city. So big it has cause lots of odd things in city but new yorkers have seen it all and nothing seems to phase them. The Demons on the other hand can feel something wrong in the something very wrong. Can you figure out in time what is going on ?

I've been STing a Demon game for my own Tabletop group for a few weeks, and I just picked up the official book the other day. I'd love to get in on this game, if I could. What format and schedule would the game take?
