My character has been systematically trying to destroy the economic power of her husband's house for the past ten years or so. So, your character might have more issues with my character. I chose House Peleps as the house her husband is from. I considered a few other options, so I can change it if needed.

    I write things.

Craft is almost always better as a second excellency because you are trying to hit a fixed number of successes and it takes some of the randomness out of the process. Larceny can also benefit from the 1st if you expect it to actually be contested in which case the chance of higher successes can be useful.

I would like to consider possibly throwing my hat into this one. I would most likely be building another Solar, of a different caste than the one from Forging a Nation. Let me sleep on it. I might just be able to convince myself that I want to do a Lunar, DB, or renegade Abyssal.

I play forum games! Come check out the (mis?)adventures of
Jensven Vargsmed and his canine companion, Shadow in "Forging a Nation" (OOC, IC)
...or the Prodigal of Ashen Remorse in "Emerald Labyrinth" (OOC, IC)

Yeah, Charms, Combos, Sorcery and all that are probably the thing I'm least sure about. As a veteran OWoD and NWoD player/ST I'm used to the Attributes, Abilities, Backgrounds and the rest so they're no problem.

So I might just do the rest of the sheet and throw up what I have tomorrow for advice on Charms and stuff.

Homo sapiens. What an inventive, invincible species. It's only a few million years since they crawled up out of the mud and learned to walk. Puny, defenceless bipeds. They've survived flood, famine and plague. They've survived cosmic wars and holocausts. And now, here they are, out among the stars, waiting to begin a new life. Ready to outsit eternity. They're indomitable. Indomitable.

This may be a good place to try that Abyssal you were talking about. Just a thought.

Anyways, ST man- any house rules for character generation? Also, what are your thoughts on my Lunar having Wyld Artifacts?

Welcome, Belkra! As Noodle said, this would be a golden chance to try out that Abyssal Cecil you mentioned before, but if you want to do other things, that'd be fine, too.

@AkatsukiLeader: If you'd like help, I'm sure we can give you some assistance on charm selection.

@Noodle: I prefer Schaeffer Chargen for Lunars, personally, so you can use that if you'd like. Also, I don't mind if you wanted to take gossamer artifacts if you want, although I'd like an explanation for how a Lunar got Fae magical weapons and tools.

Since Exthalion asked, yes, you may use Merits and Flaws if you desire.

Hey guys- we should probably establish a common language for the Circle. I'm thinking of Skytongue with either Old Realm or Riverspeak as alternates. Your thoughts?

Also, does anyone playing a Solaroid want to have my Lunar as their Lunar mate? I'm open to options, though I'd prefer their relationship to be along the lines of "Best Friends who are also bitter rivals".

My character can speak all three of those options.

Speaking of which, here is my character sheet: https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B-...ZlU&authuser=0

I haven't really thought about a lunar mate for my character. Not really sure how she would react to her lunar mate either.

If you don't mind being attached to a green sun, I don't mind.

Ooh! A game set in the North!

Dibs Haslanti Sky Captain stationed in Last Chance to defend the League's investment in developing and protecting Lastchance, who gets mixed up in adventurous nonsense. I wanna play with Haslanti dream-omens and maybe have some ties to their neato gods too.

I'm leaning towards a Lunar or an Outcaste Dragonblood here.

As always in Play-By-Post games, having linked backstories helps keep things moving and gets everyone past the "getting to know one another" stage quickly, so I'm definitely open to having one or two other PCs as friends/lovers/allies/whatever before start of game.

So I'm making God-Kicking Boot, an Exalted webcomic, now. Updates on Sundays. Full-color, mediocre but slowly improving art. It's a thing.

The absence of a monument can, in its own way, be something of a monument also.

Wise Old Guru, I'll be interested, if you want to play a Lunar. Maybe even work with a DB background. I can send you some of my backstory to see if you are interested.

Awesome! I should be finished with my preliminary write-up shortly. I'll shoot it to you once I'm finished so we can work out how they met and such.

If you go with a Lunar, we could have the same mentor. Otherwise, I'm running with my Lunar being a Haslan as of right now. That leaves open a large number of possibilities for potentially being friends/allies.

Welcome! As for the town, It's suppsoed to be Lastchance, as I originally thought that naming a place "Last Chance" would be asking for trouble, but I suppose it makes more sense. Last Chance it is

@Noodle: Do you have anything in mind for your Lunar in terms of their mentor?
