Out of character, this seems to be a bad idea. In character, I have no reason not to trust you. So sure! You are in.

I should note that after you sign the business contract, the deal will be sanctified by the power of the Unconquered Sun. Will that be a problem?

A bureaucracy check will reveal that the business contract is a basic agreement of partnership and limited liability, etc etc. Zarah isn't going to screw over another exalt. It seems to be a great way to get herself killed. But she is covering herself in case someone else isn't that worried about screwing her over.

Okay, okay okay, these are the bullet points of Xisa's Background, keep in mind, this is all up in the air for right now and is thus subject to change:

*Smacked up gods
*Preached to mortals
*You know the drill
*Became embroiled in conflict with an Anathema (One of you guys, or more).
*Chased said Anathema into Yu Shan via a Calibration Gate. (Of course this happens on Calibration)
*Got lost, ended up somewhere where she learned the truth of the matter of her entire system of belief
*Became a homeless giggling lunatic on the streets of Yu Shan
*Did a lot of giggling, got charged with vagrancy, which escalated into assaulting an officer
*and then several other officers, and this continued until the Lions realized it'd cause less damage if they let her alone
*Met Five Days Darkness, who initially tried his usual "Goad Immaculates into fighting him and killing them with their own martial arts." Problem is, she just agreed to everything he said.
*Then attacked him after identifying him, this threw his groove off pretty hard.
*After subduing her, they had a moment, and he became her "Sifu."
*He then sent her home, where all sorts of ridiculous claims were made to counter her attempts to spread the truth about the Order.
*Either that they've drove her bonkers or stole her face, perhaps some combination of the two.
*Then they sent her off to a village far away in the middle of nowhere in order to "cultivate her essence."


Current Motivation is to locate another Gate and learn how to operate it.

Out of character, I find the scene with the monk interesting. In character, Zarah spends a lot of effort flying under the Immaculate Order's Radar, even before her exaltation.

She abandoned the martial arts during her run of vagrancy in Yu Shan. Master Five still hadn't quite convinced her to take it up again when she returned to Creation. Needless to say, she's also incredibly out of practice.
