Rene is more of a buffing character than an offense one. She doesn't really plan on fighting her own battles. She'll probably try to counterspell though.

What are Michelle's asset skills? They're not on the character sheet. I'm guessing Larceny and Stealth but could also be Larceny and Athletics or Streetwise.

Yeah, saw that, which is better than Morganna's firearms skills but not enough Str to avoid a -1 penalty (though she does have a combat rote). These characters are more civilians with a smattering of combat skills than folks that are going to go toe to toe with some CoD heavy hitters.

Lol, your character has fate magic to find whatever research topic she wants, a photographic memory for what she reads, and the equivalent of an M.A. coming out of high school (possibly pushing a Ph.D. in Anthropology with that occult skill). I know that person! (Ok they were older and actually getting a Ph.D.).
I'm looking at the hurt locker rules right now. Maybe Rene should pick up a can of Pepper Spray. She'd be rolling 1 dice (dex -1 unskilled) but could spend a point of willpower to add 3 dice. Since Pepper Spray and stun guns have flat effects that don't scale with hits, Pepper spray and panic might be an option.
Edit. Can you change the text color you use for IC. The yellow is really hard to read.Last edited by DrSteve; 01-02-2021, 12:04 AM.

DrSteve - I really like the creativity here. As a Storyteller, I'm less experienced with the Astral realms so I'm a little unsure of how to evaluate how realistic your idea is and the mechanics of how it works. Can you explain further here in the OOC thread what you are proposing in your post regarding the candle and the Oneiros?
Also, I'm going to say that no, Morganna can't see the Supernal entity that is visible to the Heir. Honestly I don't understand those mechanics either, Signs of Sorcery clarifies it a little but not much. But for now, I'll say that only the Heir can view it.
Second Chances - Sorry, we're in the same scene still. I haven't advanced it yet because very little has actually happened so far with regards to story advancement. I will indicate scene changes very clearly in my IC posts using this text: * NEW SCENE *
In my experience, many mages tend to be fantastic at combat without even building for it, but primarily when they have advance warning of a threat. That's the beauty of the Mage system: It really gives you an incentive for gaining information and problem-solving creatively.

Sorry for the delay in posting, everyone. I had a busy week and I have family visiting this weekend. I am working on another post and will try to put it up today or tomorrow.
DrSteve - Can you see my question here in this thread a few posts ago? Just trying to better understand exactly what you are trying to do using creative thaumaturgy.

Sorry. It's been a week. Basically a spell that checks in with the astral to see if an Oneiros is present. The problem is the range. According to core rules, you only have to be thinking of somebody to find their Oneiros. Not sure how this should translate into a real where space is more a mental construct.
Basically, the candle pings the astral to see if any of the desired Onerios's are present, the mages mental image gives the candle the "address" for the ping. The color change is a special effect.
Sorry, I'm really tired right now and didn't expect and failed coup on Tuesday.

Now that I've had some time to think about it, I think the correct model rote might be summon goetia. The spell only works in a place that a mage has a connection to the astral, which for an astral adept is anywhere, and does not have a distance to thing summoned range. There may also need to be extra reaches for how deep in the Astral you need to go.
