Our forums have been updated to the latest vBulletin, and are now hosted on a new server!

• I've implemented some long-overdue organizational changes: sub-forums for more of our games. One for Deviant. Broke out all the Exalted splats.
• I did a quick pass on moving posts to their new homes, but might have missed some.
• The Exalted forum is usable again! I deleted a lot of duplicate posts; as above, some remain.

I see a couple of the long General Questions threads from the Chronicles of Darkness subforums have been closed without a reason stated; is there a technical or other reason for that, will they have to be restarted to continue?

Quite possibly it's disabled. Go to settings, then account, it should be in there.

Also, as I understand it, the reputation system isn't fully enabled on the forums anyway (probably for the best). So basically everyone has the same reputation and either it's grey because the display for that user is disabled, or full because the display is enabled (there is mouse over text that will display "has reputation disabled" or "reputation0").

The forum software supports a more robust reputation system where users can be awarded/docked reputation (either by selection forum members, or by every user) as something beyond getting likes for a post. However very few people really use that sort of thing because such popularity contests tend to skew behavior and interactions in negative ways rather than helping foster more community goodwill..

Is there some specific reason my posts are getting flagged as spam? I've only made 8 posts since the forums came back and at least 2 of them have needed manual moderator approval.

EDIT: OK just saw this mentioned as a known issue in the trouble tickets, so never mind.
