  • Any good movies, games, or books you are looking forward to?

Myself I'm looking forward to Top Gun Maverick and the latest Mission Impossible films.

There isn't any games right now on the list but I do hope that will change.

Then there is some new Sherlock Holmes novels I hope to see out in paperback soon.

More Blu Ray releases than theatrical ones. My Hero Academia: World Heroes Mission, X, anniversary editions of Escape from New York, Lawrence of Arabia, Beverly Hills Cop 2.

What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly. That is the first law of nature.

I heard a rumor of a new Silent Hill series entry along with an unnecessary remake of SH2, but I doubt the truth of the former and would hope the latter doesn't happen.

Check out the first look at gameplay for Stray, a new game coming to PlayStation where you play as a cat in an abandoned cyber-city. Stray releases on July 1...

Just saw this preview yesterday. Looks like a parkour/exploration style game where you play a kitty cat in a post-apocalyptic, robot controlled city. It hits everything I want. I haven't been this excited for a game in a long time.

I watched The Wrong Side of the Tracks, a series translated from Spanish. Sweetie and I could not stop watching. Now, a bunch of my friends want to watch it French and I think, after that, I will watch it again in its original Spanish, which will hopefully become my third language.

Probably The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me and Resident Evil Village. That's what I'm personally looking forward to the most.Although I'm not really a fan of games, I just like to play them from time to time. And mostly they are games of the online bingo format or something like that. Sometimes I just want to play something as simple as possible.

Hopefully soon, I will start the Mistborn Trilogy. I spent enough time on hold with Indigo Books to play three games of chess online with a podcast in the background. All I wanted was the phone number for a local outlet. The receptionist repeatedly asked me for my full name, which I declined to provide. It was then explained to me that the stores don't typically sell books to customers who walk in, instead requiring people to provide their name, address, email and banking or credit card information, before shipping it out to you. Trying her best to be of help, the receptionist suggested I go to the store in person to ask the manager to make an exception. As if I'm going to make a trip, just to beg someone to accept cash. I opted for a smaller book store in the city where I used to live who I can trust not share my info and reading list with "our partners".

To be fair, it is no more a scam than is Amazon Books. You are not at risk of being overcharged or account fuckery, but you are giving out a lot of personal information for the convenience. I remember thinking that, if consumer data is always sold to the highest bidder, it might actually be that Saudi Aramco knows way more about the average person than most of us would be comfortable with, because Aramco has quite a large fortune.

The fact that I'm buying a fantasy novel isn't something I'm that concerned about being known. It's the principle of it. I do buy books by authors who challenge power and I don't want to be profiled.

So, while shopping I saw, Rise of the Dragon; I didn't buy it, as I have enough books; I instead went to the county-library and they had tons of copies available; it took me a week.

I also picked up Colonial Horrors: a collection of short-stories, written at least a hundred-years ago. Not too scary, but, provides good source-material, like the Pine-Rats: Tories that lived in the Pennsylvania-forests up until the Civil-War.

As for movies outside of Top Gun Maverick and whenever Tom Cruise's next Mission Impossible film is coming out and some South Korean action films. I don't see to many North American movies that interest me at all.
