That sucks Mr. Gone and I found her entertaining. What a world we live in where making a statement can get you cancelled and whom ever said that words can't hurt you is unaware of how effective psychlogical warfare is.

Not knowing who she was, I watched almost all (and will likely finish when time permits) of her explanation video. The tweet seemed benign to me. Authors should be able to reach their audience, even those who say legitimately terrible things. AI is powerful enough that a function could be created that groups everyone who is part of an outrage mob and puts their communication on the subject into the recycle bin of the internet. Nobody gets cancelled and everyone is allowed to carry on with their lives.

Edit: Also, Ampersand is a cool name for an alien.

I thought so too! The aliens in that story are pretty interesting too... and it gets better in the sequel.

Like it's been said before. People need to grow a thicker skin and learn that there are people who shock & shudder have different viewpoints that you might not like and shouldn't be punished by losing there jobs or be bullied off the internet. Melanie Mc Go Boom mentioned that there were people who were going after her for things she said when she was 17 years old and she is a 35 year old woman now and has a much different mindset now then when she was a teenager.

I usually watch new clips on the sumerian records label channel and educational videos. My favorite characters are Henning Sanden and Morten Jaeger. They have a great channel about creating animation and they also talk about the basics of art, do podcasts and there's a video Q&A section as well. I work in blender and with their tutorial I was able to make an animated explainer video for my portfolio. I don't have any entertaining favorite characters, I rarely watch anything like that on YouTube.

Tom Scott has an excellent educational channel, and his second channel is great for seeing him working with other youtubers, often doing things that are way out of his comfort zone (from singing, to eating very hot sauces, to landing a 737)

That is good news to here that she didn't fully give up on social media or do what Frosk did and blame the entire audience for the actions of a few.
