And then next question since I know if I don't ask, someone else will. What is your opinion on having a development process that is a bit more open to the community? I notice you posted that little Arms of the Chosen preview. Is that something we can generally expect will happen in the future, or will this be just a one time thing?
No promises or commitments, but we do expect to provide more previews down the line.
Well now that you've selfishly hogged both of the options, Vance can't choose either. He's going to be stuck saying he goes commando or wears a banana hammock or something.

(and now back to rewriting clockwork birds)
Excellent, I can't wait! And have fun with the clockwork birds. I do hope one of them is a nightingale. That was always one of my more favorite stories from Anderson.
Will Arms of the Chosen Cover how first age artifice differs from normal artifacts and how N/A weapons will be handled? I ask about N/As because many crafting charms reference multiple n/as being built at a time and my groups craftsman is essence 5 and really wants to craft N/As so we can take out the big bads.

Arms of the Chosen will cover the specifics of what falls under First Age Artifice, yep!
I don't think we have any N/A weapons, but I've got two N/A warstriders planned out. They should provide an idea of what the Evocations of this kind of artifact look like.
You know, I think that what I love the most about this preview is that the material here is actually something that's immediately applicable to the games I run. Such is the elegance of adapting Mastery/Terrestrial into Resonant/Dissonant. Thanks, gentlemen. <3

Thanks for the response. Sounds great.
One more quick question Will Arms also cover sorcerous artifacts? Or will those go in a future book more aimed at sorcery. I think there is only one in the main book mentioned its special crafting rules in a side bar.(the talisman of ten thousand eyes Pg. 470)
Are you considering plans after the Antagonists/Bestiary material to try and provide a steady trickle of Ex3 content? Definitely, definitely not, depends on how it goes...?
I wonder if Stormcaller's "Intensity System" is going to be emulated by some Dragon-Blooded Charms. Some years ago, I wrote Revised DBs for 2E where you'd get stronger based on "Elemental Magnitude" which is basically identical to Stormcaller's "Intensity System." I feel that this emulates elemental powers very well and I think something similar could make Dragon-Bloods very interesting.
For the purpose of familiars (and Charms associated with familiars) will there be full stat blocks for animals (extra work, for which I apologise, but the current QC statblocks don't interact well with Survival charms)?
Congratulations to Minton and Vance! And thanks for the preview; Stormcaller looks like great, evocative fun.
I guess it's a bit early to be asking Sidereal questions, isn't it? Ah, well. I do have an additional question, though; are we still going to get something equivalent to Towers of the Mighty and Paths of Brigid at some point? Possibly on the new monthly release schedule? If we make appropriate bribes and sacrifices?
Play testing, can we apply for it, will more of it go on than for the core book?
From a player and ST point of view there are a fair few things in the core book that feel like they could have been smoothed out by more play testing with a few more eyes. Is it possible for more of it to go on, with NDA's obviously.
For the Dragonblood book, how much can we expect to see on outcasts and Lookshy in comparison to the Realm?
For the Realm itself, it has often looked like the only story the fluff was interested in telling is the Realm sucking hard, is that going to be reversed? Things like the battles against the Bull of the North have always been really problematic to me, because of how badly they portray the DB.
And finally, but by no means least, congratulations both and good luck.
1. In the charm Awakening Eye, it provides a free excellency of Perception+Awareness added to a Join Battle roll. I was curious as to why it was Perception and not Wits? Was it a thematic choice to make so that more observant characters have an edge via Awakening Eye? I have legit been wracking my brain over it as I now have two different characters with the charm.
I'm a little uncertain how this works if my Perception is higher than my Wits. Do I roll 2*Awareness + 2*Perception, 2*Awareness + Wits + Perception, or something else?
