So the previous version of this thread seems to be what broke the forum (don't worry it's Quarantined not deleted and I'm looking for a way to restore it)

Don't answer questions on behalf of the developers. If you feel you know the answer please quote the reply and answer in Ask a Question.

Please, please please don't let this thread go over 100 pages!

I read yesterday in the kickstarter update that Exalted Essence is getting ready for Kickstarter. Is Exigents going to get a Kickstarter?

I want to play this as a starting character, I don't even care what game.

So, someone wielding Death at the Root can potentially suppress or even negate sorcerous workings (via Broken Circle Ruin, Lunars p. 338), which normally can't be done. I'm not sure how the effects work out in some cases.

        An (admittedly weird) example:

A sorcerer uses a fairly simple Terrestrial (Ambition 2) working to create a species of rabbit-scorpion hybrids. Let's say the sorcerer originally creates a single breeding pair. A year later, a Lunar carrying Death at the Root shows up at the sorcerer's manse and quickly gets tired of dealing with scorpion-tailed bunnies. They're obviously the work of sorcery, so he brings the grimcleaver down and chops that miracle in half.

Presumably, the original breeding pair dies, splits into one pair each of (very confused) rabbits and scorpions, or otherwise comes to an unfortunate end. What about the rest of the group? Does every last scorpion-bunny perish, or are the rest of them fine? (I'm not sure if a newly created species would be considered part of the working in their entirety, or if they're merely the results of the working.)

        Example 2:

A sorcerer performs a powerful Solar (Ambition 2) working to make his home city fly. Later, while the city is a mile in the air, that guy with Death at the Root shows up and suppresses the working.

Does the city just...fall (probably killing most of the population on impact)? Or does it just descend, land awkwardly on the ground and stay there until the magic turns back on? (My assumption is the former, but yikes.)

I see that according to the Monday Morning notes, Fulls have been contracted for Hundred Devils Night Parade... uh, what does that mean? Is that essentially the "you've got all the notes, now make the full art to go in the book" stage?

My guess is that it's a reference to the full-page art they use for chapters.

Do charms like Unmoving Mountain Stance in Earth Dragon or Unmoving Aurochs Defense in Lunars protect against being knocked/thrown prone as well as knockback? I assume they do but it doesn't hurt to get clarification.

Will we see more set up on the Forbidden Gods, like what they actually are and such. Outside of one example(good old God of Necrophage) I'm not exactly clear what would make a God shunned by Heaven despite the text often implying that forbidden gods are a dangerous thing but no other elaboration. Sorry for the tangent, just curious on your thoughts on it

Exalted covers a lot of territory, culturally speaking, but ignoring the outliers (barbarian tribes, First age infrastructure, and what-all-else), if you had to pin down a time period for Creation (classical, medieval, renaissance, etc.), generally speaking, what would it be?

Does the Indefinite version of Harmonious Presence Meditation count as a Scene-length Charm for the purpose of counting mote commitments from Trance of Fugue Vision in Performance?

I wouldn't try. I don't think that it's a useful way to describe things, both because Creation is all over the place in terms of its inspirations, and also because real-world time periods don't work that way — there's no smooth worldwide progression of culture or technology to use as a template for a "time period."

We haven't hashed out the specifics of forbidden gods in 3e yet. I figure that it's an umbrella category that encompasses such things as gods who sided with the enemies of the gods during the Divine Revolution; gods who were exiled beyond the sight of sun and moon for truly severe violations of the Celestial Bureaucracy's laws; and gods whose natures made both Heaven and Creation so abhorrent to them that they fled of their own will to the dark places beneath the world.
