Yeah, hearing about it in this impromptu manner is absolutely better than getting the full impact of seeing it first hand. I absolutely wasn't deliberately dancing around giving that game away to avoid spoiling the result. Who needs impact when you can embrace all of this lovely, foamy Nerf?

A courtier, or possibly a Dynast:

In the game I'm running, he was a diplomat for a Vanehan clan who worked alongside one of the now-Eclipse characters before he vanished - in fact, she Exalted in the process of negotiating the deal he was meant to, using Flawlessly Impenetrable Disguise and Perfect Mirror to portray him perfectly until after negotiations were finalized. She's now trying to find him; and I'm not precisely sure what happened. I'm contemplating Exaltation as a Lunar after discovering some great corruption in the house he was making a deal with, abandoning his duty in disgust rather than complete such an abhorrent pact. Even in that case, though, I'm not sure what said 'great corruption' should be. In my other idea, he was chosen by the Black Exaltation and became an Abyssal after being assassinated.

Need I say anything?
