[Actual Play] The Party Prelude Project

Hello, all. I finally have my game of Ex3 off the ground and I am jumping in and running some preuldes for the players in the game, recording them, and posting them as examples of play. Yesterday I recorded the first of them and am planing to release them in small, digestible chunks over a bit. These preludes are post-exaltation, pre meeting the party of the game.

Question: If I finish editing the final section of Alizarin's prelude tonight would people like for me to post it immediately? I know I've just put forth a bit of content, so staggering release might be beneficial. Any thoughts?

Give yourself a buffer, I say, so you have something to post even during slow times without much gaming. I've waited years for Ex3, I can wait a day or two for an audio of a prelude.

Okay. I will do that. I'm still trying to pencil in my next prelude recording for some time next week, so when I get that on lock I will try to get it to fall between recording and my first shot at good editing on that episode.

Unfortunately, I can't record our game proper, but I am really excited to get these preludes out to people.

I have my next recording scheduled for Wednesday with the player of the party Night. It's gonna be an interesting session, I think.

I recorded the Peedee session last night and it went really well. There's social influence, a lot of Night caste sneaking around, roleplay, and a two round fight at the capstone. I'm much more satisfied with this than Alizarin's, though I feel that went well. I'm probably only gonna make this one two episodes, but I'm excited to get this out to you all.

I also need to find another place to host this-- Soundcloud has harsh limits on minutes of Audio and this would break my cap.

Here is part 2. I am having trouble keeping my files smallish-- I exceeded the hosting limit on Podbean by like 2mbs and don't want to pay for hosting because this is the last prelude I can put up for a minute here. Anyway, here it is via Youtube. Is there anyone with a stronger preference for the audio only version (I know I share that preference). If so, I can try to work around things-- somehow drop that file size maybe... I didn't realize how much Bryce was fiddling with the dice during the recording, so I hope you can bear with those low levels of dice clatter.

I hope you all enjoy this in general! I think we really brought it for Peedee and I hope you agree.
