Hi, I'm Noodle. I'm a social worker (disability services) living in the Seattle area, with a background in Political Theory and Macroeconomics. I've been playing tabletop RPGs for about a decade, and got into Exalted about the time Infernals released.

My favorite Exalts are the Sidereals and Infernals and I'm pretty stoked for Exigents and Getimians. I'm usually my group's ST/GM, and have developed a bit of a reputation as a sadistic ST (though my group keeps asking me to run games for them, so if that's true they're masochists). I also do a fair bit of homebrew (usually for said games), but I hardly ever post anything, since it seems that next to no-one here would appreciate my killer labyrinthine First Age bomb shelters and hyper-synergistic DB death squads. Since homebrew is basically the only reason I come here anymore, I don't really post much.

I'm Colin Fredericks - which is my actual real name!

I'm in my late 30s. I'm from Vermont originally, but these days I live near Boston and help professors create online courses for my day job. Exalted is tied for my #1 favorite game ever with Mage.

My big hobby is actually writing RPGs. I write unofficial Ex3 characters and settings at a blog called Stranger Creations. I've been writing games since 1995, when I was in high school and wrote a 150-page supplement for Valence 1st Edition. My biggest project recently was Sufficiently Advanced, a diceless, high-powered, hard sci-fi game. I've also written the Console series, which is a set of Final Fantasy parody games.

I enjoy martial arts (mostly karate and tai chi), video games (on my Nth playthrough of Symphony of the Night), fantasy and sci-fi books (currently on The Fifth Season by Jemisin), and petting every animal ever.

Current project: Monster Ambulance, wherein you save monsters. In your ambulance.

        Hi!

I'm Keichiokami and I live in sunny San Diego. I am currently working at a Bar/Bistro/Chocolate Factory shop called Eclipse Chocolate. I am going to school part time for Sociology and I am semster away from two Associates Degrees. I am deeply involved in my gaming and LARP community here in San Diego and I have been into Exalted since 1st Edition. I used to frequent the forums on the old WW site, so I have been on the Official Exalted Forums since they started. I used to be Jose Mariposa back then and was (and still am) a huge Changeling The Dreaming Fan. I'm 36 now and I have been playing White Wolf games since I was a teenager at the tender age of 13.

Oh I am also a Latino, Queer, Radical Leftistst, who loves anime, gothic horror, SCA, and handsome men. ^_^

Hi, I'm Xerxes, which has been my long-time handle since Librarium Online and Shadownessence in the early 2000s. I also go by Aramithius (a name unique to me in all the Interwubs, I think, but only used on Reddit and the Bethesda Forums) and CrucibleofWords.

I'm from many places in the UK, currently in Basingstoke and desperately looking for people to run Exalted with. This may be solved soon, but any other on-location people would be appreciated. I have tried running things over Skype with people I have known for years, and it didn't really work, so I'm not overly confident in doing it with strangers. And between doing church activities at least 3 times a week, STing a once-a-month Dark Ages: Vampire game, and playing in a Vampire: the Masquerade Camarilla game, a Blood Bowl league and starting in a Necromunda campaign I generally want to either vegetate or sleep when I'm at home.

I got into roleplaying games through the Fighting Fantasy gamebook series in the early 90s, was lent a copy of Tunnels & Trolls and then made my own homebrew system that was a mash-up of the two. I got introduced to VtM in Sixth Form, but didn't actually get round to playing any until university, which also held such wonders as Star Wars d20, and such horrors as D&D 3.5. I had a friend who ranted at length about the fantasticness of Exalted 2E (particularly the tick-based combat and the notion of an actual social combat system), but never played any. Fell in love with the feel of the game when I got the 2E PDF when it was given away for free, but never really looked at the mechanics.

Then I saw Ex3 was out, got incredibly excited and jumped over from the Vampire OP forums to here. My life is currently my work and my not-quite-newb readthrough of the Ex3 rulebook. Oh wow, I've been at it a month. That is... scary. I look forward to posting more frequently when I won't encounter spoilerific things in the threads.

I'm Kukla. I live in Massachusetts in the USA. I got in to Exalted back in 2005-ish but virtually all of my games have been on the internet. I'm an upper class white male non-heterosexual STEM nerd, and I love to complain. The main reason I'm here is because I love to be salty and grumpy, and because I enjoy bickering as constructively as possible. I was briefly in charge of an Exalted MUSH, which went okay. I've written some for Sanguine Productions, and I'm very proud of my contributions to the Myriad Song game.

Great idea for the thread! Thanks Totentanz.

My name is Cameron, I've been an English/Drama teacher for most of my working life, though I'm currently the Communications Officer for the teachers' union in my state (NSW, Australia).

I started playing WW games in the early 90s and still have my limited edition version of Exalted 1st ed sitting alongside similarly faux-leather bound versions of Mage and werewolf. Of all WW games the ones I've played the most are Exalted, Aberrant and Mage:the sorcerers crusade (back in the days of geocities I even used to maintain a site devoted to M:tSC) - I'm also heavily narrativist in my gaming, though as a long time Shadowrun player I'm not afraid to roll up my sleeves and get crunchy.

I'm in the process of completing a masters degree in educational psychology in which I've been researching the use of role playing as a teaching tool, and I'm actually looking forward to getting back into the classroom to get back to lessons where students get to be heroes.

(It doesn't seem space-y when you see it spelled out, but it didn't sound out of place in the radio show.)

The roundabout thing is also a joke. The question is which roundabout... we have many, many roundabouts. Probably at least one every half-mile or so. Not counting the mini-roundabouts.

I've been playing WW games since 98 ("Nineteen-Ninety-Eight?" "I know, hard to believe it was last millennium") and RPGs in general a little longer than that. I recently started a weekly 3E Dragon-Blooded game Dynasty of Dovak.

Exalted is one of my favourite games: been into it since 1st Edition, but I don't get to play much (would be interested in joining an online game). Infernals are my favourite splat, followed by Dragon-Blooded then Alchemicals. Ledaal Kes is my favourite canon character. Keychain of Creation was my favourite webcomic.

I'm was initially sceptical about 3E, but it's really grown on me as I've played it more. If you're on the fence, I'd urge you to look at it with fresh eyes and take the game "as it is" instead of what you think it should be. 3E is a great game, but it's very different to 2E -- if you approach it thinking it should be the same as 2E, you are going to be disappointed.

I'm not afraid to post my opinions; but check my sig, they're just opinions. I'd love to hear your opinions, especially if you disagree with me. Hearing other points of view helps me build informed opinions and gain a better appreciation for Exalted.

I am dyslexic and literally minded. I can have trouble conveying tone, but I try to be civil and am always happy to clarify myself.

I hope you get a lot of use out of this forum

Eh, let's get in on this action.

I'm SamuraiMujuru, the online handle I have used pretty much always. Inspired by my favorite character from Ninja Scroll, but dating back to a time of the internet where fact-checking was much less of a thing, so the sites had it misspelled. I do hosting support in Iowa.
I've been playing Exalted since roughly a month after 1E came out, and it fast became the staple of my gaming group. We'd run the gamut from serious campaign to absolutely gonzo shenanigans. By the time second edition came out, I was stuck in the forever ST cycle. Every now and then, someone starts up a game, but every single time one or more of the players table flips and kills the game, leaving me incapable of actually PLAYING my favorite RPG.
Been playing RPGs since 1991 with the big black box with the red dragon on the cover for D&D, and my second RPG was RuneQuest. Since then I've branched into a little bit of everything, even going so far as to playing a World of Synnibarr one shot, just to see how bad it was.

Exalted Behind a Screen of Jade, Savant of the Immaculate Texts, No Moon Scholar, Good Sitting Dog, Best Lurking Cat with Bones, Pioneer Pooch, Corsair, Director, Keeper of the Karstein Manor, Scion with Shield of Knowledge, Erymanthian Boar, Seeking Awakened, Cloaked Changeling, Family Head, Kindred, Agent, Poltergeist, Disciple of the Antler Crown, Wraith, Conspiracy Theorist, First Time Traveler

I had the same reaction in school when one of my teachers offhandedly mentioned Basingstoke.

I'm Zee, and I'm a 27 year old first-generation immigrant living in beautiful Austin, Texas. I'm the co-founder of a graph database/analytics startup, where we're in the process of signing our first enterprise customer!(!!!) I spend virtually all of my time working, and my posting here is accordingly real limited. Exalted 3e is my favorite pen and paper game ever, and Solars and Sidereals are tied for my favorite Exalt.

Hi, I'm Ferryman. I am an unrepentent nerd who lives in San Diego county. I have worked in education for essentially all of my adult life, and have been reading/playing/running tabletop rpgs on and off for the last twenty years. I discovered Exalted right after 1st Edition was released by browsing the new arrivals shelf at the FLGS, spent the better part of an hour reading it in the aisle before I realized that I should really just buy the damned thing. Then I went straight home, devoured the rest of the hardback, and pitched it to my college friends. I still love the game, despite how hard it is these days to carve out time for it between my group's work schedules.

I have friends who have been there, but I haven't been myself! I guess I need to make the trip down from North County one of these days.

                                Oh boy.

Well, I'm the pilot of the Gundam Warstrider Heavy Arms. I live in the strange Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (so Onyx Path HQ is supposedly somewhere nearby).

I've been gaming most of my life, though I got started with war games with my dad before I discovered RPGs proper in '95 with WEG Star Wars. Soon after one of my WEG SW pals wanted to try out this weird new Vampire the Dark Ages thing in the summer of '96. I then got hooked on Werewolf the Apocalypse, Mage then Ascension, and WW's general catalog since. After missing the boat with my original group for Aeon, I got really excited when Exalted 1e came out and my new college gaming crew were on board; been a fan ever since.

General other stuff about me: I'm a biologist, and Jewish (both of which come up more often than you might expect..) as far as what I tend to disclose online.

I'm not a very frequent poster on Exalted stuff (though I lurk a lot), so I guess this sort of thread is also aimed at bringing folks like me back into things rather than just new posters. I burned out pretty hard during the 2e flames of yore, so I'm still testing the waters with 3e discussions; though I'm still a bit quiet since I haven't gotten to play 3e yet so I'm still in "theory" space with it.
