During one of the story arc from the comic strip, 9 Chickweed Lane, one of the characters (Seth) was starting to look like prime material for some Nosferatu make into her personal Cleopatra. Seth is a hunky, muscular ballet dancer (the artist sucks at drawing guys with muscles) who fancies himself as a good, wise person who wants what's best for people when he's really just petty, manipulative and vindictive. For fun I did a write-up of it over 2 years ago.

I'm sure some of you who go to the Comics Curmudgeon or are familiar with Comic Aligance's FunkyWatch knows that Tom Batiuk's work (Funky Winkerbean and Crankshaft) is some of the most depressing stuff in the comic strip world. (At times it could compete with WoD.) When someone joked about the idea of Lisa (FW) being poisoned by her husband to cash off on her struggles, this idea wouldn't shut-up until I made a Wraith write-up for her. When I get an idea, it goes crazy.

        Full Metal Panic!

Conversion Assumption: Mithril is like the Dies Ultimae, but run by Silver Fangs, mostly by their Kinfolk. Whispered operate as technomages, with a paradigm hemmed in by the Machine Incarna. Use of fighting robots is more limited, due to various issues with Weaver-tech.

Sousuke: The Son of Bdshank's Tiger is... a weretiger. Dropped a lot of points into Willpower to make sure that he wouldn't go off the handle so easily. Replace scenes of people thinking that his weapons aren't real with incidents of relatively subdued Chatro mayhem covered up by the Delirium.
Kaname: Orphan, has no desire to join mystical societies that would make her life change too much. Uses a paper fan as a focus for Mind magic without even really realizing it.
Tessa: Orphan and Silver Fang Kinfolk. Has a Hakken-style arrangement* with her werewolf family in House Wyrmfoe.
        Melissa: Boli Zousizhe Kinfolk,
Kurz: Glass Walker Kinfolk, had a mentor among the Dies Ultimae.
        Kalinin: Silver Fang Kinfolk
        Mardukas: Fianna Kinfolk
        Ben: Glass Walker Philodox
        Wraith: Gukutsuhi Kitsune

Gauron: Former NWO combat agent, gone over to the SoE
        Xia twins: Consors to Gauron
        Gates: Marauder
Leonard: Silver Fang Kinfolk who joined the Sons of Ether, thus falling out of favor with family.

*The Hakken offer Mages who are Kin to them a choice - stay with their family, or join an organization of other mages and be practically dead to them.

I remember years ago that someone made the start of a World of Darkness: Springfield (The Simpsons). Some friends (at the time) and I were building on the idea and here's some of the things that we came up with...

-Springfield is pretty much where the Technocracy dumps all of it's losers. When you got a Progenitor like Dr. Nick Rivera and the NWO group, The Stone Cutters, (who are more interested in "drinking beer and playing ping-pong") you can see why.
-Mr. Burns is the Ventrue prince of Springfield who can only drink from people who are loyal to him. The ritual he uses "to cheat death for another week" (the episode where Homer thought he saw an alien) allows him resistance to the sun for a while. Of course, Smithers is a ghoul.
-Professor Frink? Son of Ether all the way. Herb Powell (Homer's half-brother) may also be one.
-Lisa could possibly be a hedge mage.
-The Insanity Peppers are a magical creation of the Nuwisa (sp) that allow eater (even Mortals) to mentally enter an Umbral realm. The werecyotes will play around with the eater for a bit before giving them a quest that will grant them wisdom.
-A Treehouse of Terror where Homer becomes a Mage and ends up pissing-off every Tradition he tries to join.

Mage: Welcome to the Euthanos, Mr. Simpson.

            Homer: Can I kill Flanders?

Mage: No, it is not his time on the Wheel of Life.

Homer: Fine. I'm not joining some creepy death cult that won't let me kill Flanders.

When the Technocracy won't take him in, Homer starts his own group. He gets a big head from his prestige and accidentally causes a major paradox backlash that forces the Traditions and Technocarcy to form an allegiance and in the end brings them closer together. So they both permanently lock Homer's powers and his and the town's memories away of this.

Dexter Morgan is so a Euthie. Albeit a wayward one pretty close to a Quiet sometimes. (He talks to the Dead, although it could also be Manifest Avatar taking different forms to try and guide him) The whole show is revolving around his self discovery and retaining (regaining?) what little humanity he has to keep a normal cover. The Code he lives by is not far off from the Euthanatos Chadona, though it lacks the Chadona's complexity.

Danny Fenton = Proctor Wraith or Risen. Fetter/Conduit is obviously the Fenton Ghost Portal.
And Amity Park is when the Haunters actually succeed in bringing the Shadowlands and Skinlands together in one small area. Various types of ghosts within the show are easy to peg. Walker is definitely part of the Hierarchy all the way, while ghosts like Johnny Thirteen or Ember are Renegades. The Ultimate Enemy is when Danny's Shadow takes over or that possibility is at least shown to Danny of what can happen.

Randy Cunningham = Corax or Shih. If Corax (Basing on the Suit = Made out of Tengu feathers), then the Nomicon is certainly a powerful fetish book. The Sorcerer is certainly Wyrm influenced or a Nephandi that loves chaos and can easily create Fomori (And has a Rat Familiar). Willem Viceroy III is a rogue Progenitor that works under McFist and for McFist Industries (Which is part of Pentex).
Catfish Booray is a corrupt Mokole, c'mon, Pythanthigator? Yep, Mokole.
Howard is a plain old human (Kinfolk wouldn't work for that whole "Don't tell anyone." warning given out) and Randy tells him what he is now (Which might be a big no-no if Corax...).

Gravity Falls would be sorta like Twin Peaks if done NWOD Innocents style. Don't know if Dipper would be Imbued or just a regular very young hunter/human that knows too much.

Going by supernatural-esqe urban fantasy animation shows, I've forgotten about American Dragon Jake Long. While Jake Long and his family might be Zhong Lung (Mokole, while Jonathan Long is either kinfolk/human), I'm leaning more towards Changeling: the Dreaming with that show with all the other critters. That or the "Dragon Council" are under Changeling oath to protect and aid Changelings.
Professor Hans Rotwood is an Arcanum member that is ignoring the whole "Don't get too involved and close" rule in trying to expose that supernatural creatures are real to the world.

And man, would Gargoyles be a massive CWOD crossover waiting to happen.

Meanwhile, Detentionaire (if you know a bit of it and the conspiracies) would be perfect for the Technocracy.
Who wants to bet that the Red Tazelwurm is Lee Ping's Avatar and that he is a newly awakened mage in a Technocratic controlled school?

                              Sleepy Hollow (Burton, 1999)

                              Lady Van Tassel
A vindictive Verbena (why not) who uses the Spirit Sphere to compel the Wraith of the Hessian mercenary whose death she witnessed (and caused).

                              The Hessian
A notorious mercenary in life, in death he has been enslaved by a vengeance seeking witch, acting as her otherworldly executioner.

                              Relics
After his death, his favorite axe was briefly taken as a trophy. Shortly after, its carrier was slain and the axe destroyed, crossing the Shroud into the waiting hands of the Hessian.

Although animals in the Shadowlands are rare, the Hessian’s destrier was more than a possession; it was his only steady companion for the many campaigns he was contracted to fight in. As their lives and deaths were so closely linked, the Hessian’s steed was waiting for him when Colonial forces finally laid him low.

                              Grave Goods
After the Colonial minutemen killed and buried their unholy opponent, they marked the site of his grave with his own sword. In life, the sword was the source of his livelihood so it is fitting that the same weapon is also the marker for his death. This crossed the Shroud along with his beloved horse and trusty axe.

                              The Tree of the Dead
At the site of his grave grew a twisted and gnarled skeleton of a tree. Whether from the festering anger of a seasoned warrior being unceremoniously slain or from a seed of evil planted by a young witch, none dare say. What is known is this site has become a Shallowing - a gateway between two worlds. The Shroud is significantly lower here than anywhere else in Sleepy Hollow. He uses this (at the witch’s behest) to use Embody more effectively than would otherwise be possible.

                              His Skull
In life, the Hessian knew he would be defeated one day. By an enemy musket, an opponent’s blade, or perhaps time itself. He never imagined that we would suffer the indignity of being decapitated by his own sword. The Hessian’s skull is his strongest Fetter to the Shadowlands and the Skinlands. The witch who controls him uses it now to compel his service. If he ever regains it, he will take her screaming into the Underworld.
