As for Alam, Victor and the Russian wardogs, I think they'd be either Fenrir or Bone Gnawers. Hardly BSDs when they essentially just ran away from abusive masters to find a new home.

Metal Gear Solid happens to inform a lot of my oMage perception, with the Patriots and Technocracy very similar in a number of regards. The question is; what would Raiden be, in an Ascension context?
(It may help to differentiate between MGS2's "soldier trained in experimental VR" from MGS4/MGR's "cyborg ninja with super strength and almost no original body left.")

Guilty Gear
A.B.A: Something between a Vampire and a Promethean?
A.B.A is a blood-drinking Frankenstein creation. She is obsessed with keys and carries a gigantic talking key around with her.
Anji Mito: Cult of Ecstasy or maybe a Visionary Hunter?
Anji is a fan dancer, with a pair of magic fans that allow him to use wind magic. He is extremely curious.
Axl Low: Cult of Ecstasy perhaps, given his history of slipping through time?
An Axl Rose look-alike, a skinny guy in denim and a Union Jack t-shirt, he wields twin kusari-gama.
Baiken: Assamite or maybe Brujah?
One armed, very butch ronin woman with perhaps some Kunoichi tendencies...
Bridget: Innocent Hunter, most likely with True Faith (Given her attire)
MtF transgender/genderqueer nun with a magic yo-yo and teddy bear, that works as a bounty hunter. (Not kidding.)
Chipp Zanuff: Avenger Hunter, or Akashic Brother
Ninja. So fast. Whoosh.
Dizzy: Demon, probably a slayer of the Reconciler faction
An unfortunate soul with two wings, one dark that takes the form of the grim reaper, and one white that takes the form of an angel. Also she has a tail.
Eddie: Lasombra.
He fights with his shadow.
Faust: MAR. AU. DER. Likely a former Progenitor.
A doctor who wields a huge scalpel, wears a bag over his head, and engages in all kinds of "cartoon" attacks, like doing a breath stroke through the air...
I-No: Verbena or maybe a Tremere
A rock-n-roll witch with a talking pointy hat..
Jam Kuradoberi: Akashic Brother
Chinese bare-handed fighter
Johnny: Orphan
Pirate captain who fights with coins and a katana
Ky Kiske: Celestial Chorus
Holy Knight with Lightning powers
May: Orphan
Young girl who can wield an anchor as a weapon, and can summon sea animals to fight for her, like dolphins and whales.
Millia Rage: Orphan, former Euthanatos
Former assassin with magic hair.
Potemkin: Progenitor
Seemingly a willing slave to a russian-style government, more muscular than humanly possible with mechanical gauntlets...
Robo-Ky: Iteration X or Sons of Ether creation
A bad robotic duplicate of Ky Kiske. Has a few rather ridiculous attacks.
Slayer: Toreador
Vampire. Very fast. Likes art.
Sol Badguy: Avenger Hunter
Leading man with a flaming sword and a bad attitude.
Testament: Verbena with a little too much jhor...
Carries a scythe, lives in a grove/graveyard, uses blood-based attacks.
Venom: Order of Hermes, perhaps...
Fights with a pool cue and floating billiard balls. Has an arcane sigil dyed in his hair.
Zappa: A Consort for A LOT of puppeteer wraiths... this guy is a walking hole in the shroud...
Walks backwards and bent over backwards, like a bad marionette. Has a variety of ghosts that haunt him and attacks with themLast edited by Froggy711; 06-24-2014, 03:41 AM.

Plus there's the problem of figuring out what the Gears would fit/fall under: Demons? Fomori? A Mockery Breed? CWOD's version of Prometheans? What happens when the Sons of Ether and Progenitors get together and make something that turns around and attacks humanity as a whole?
Guilty Gear's world would also make for a cWOD AU setting (One that the Technocracy wouldn't like at all).

At best, he probably has made an item or owns an item (Limiter) that makes people think he's a Hunter or mortal. If he's ever found out, I'm sure Hunters will be confused or debating over it on Hunter.Net.

But generally I'd still say that the Gears are basically Nova's created by THAT MAN while Dizzy is the first known born Nova. In fact I've used almost the whole cast as Cameo's in my long running Aberrant game. Generally they seem a better fit into Aeon Verse than into cWoD as a whole but above are the clearest disagreements I had with your assessments, leaving the Gears out since I still feel cWoD doesn't really have anything that could accurately portray them, but remember these are my opinions only. But like said I do think cWoD fares poorly in portraying them.
