I guess the most bizarre would be a Kithain, Thallain, Gallain, Dauntain, and Denizen all together for some reason.

An acquaintance wanted an idea of forming a long-standing group, they would be NPCs, they would be to make a parallel with a group he manages, in fact, I think he wanted a more precise group.

I suppose the most archetypal unusual group would include Sidhe, Redcaps, and Trolls; all together for some reason.

Well, I'm still learning about Changeling, but from what I've heard, it's not weird for a troll to be a sidhe's bodyguard if they're both Seelie.

You’re right, I added troll into there to have more lithe involved with the more fundamental Redcap v. Sidhe divide.

That being said, it’s not always a given that Trolls will go along with the Sidhe readily. The Trolls tend to have a vision of authority which requires merit, honor, and responsible conduct to maintain. Some Sidhe can embody those ideals and so they get along fine with Trolls. However Sidhe can also embody effortless grandeur, useless beauty, and aloof nobility; all things which would drive most Trolls up the wall if they had to deal with. Trolls might be willing to dedicate themselves to the larger bodies those types of Sidhe represent but they’ll tend to chafe in proximity with those types.

Just coming up with something off the top of my head:

Dame Nosha the redcap is the leader, a knight errant and expert swordswoman, she rose to prominence after saving the local Duke's life by eating the head of the leader of a group of assassins sent to murder him, causing the others to flee in terror. Sadly the Duke was killed off a year later by a suspicious accident, but his heir doesn't want to antagonise the scary woman and just lets her do her own thing.

She is supported by her retinue:

• The Eshu pathfinder Jacob Nathaniel, who joined her for the promise that nothing would be normal in her travels.
• Autumn Sidhe Gilles Houellebecq Esq. serves as the face of the team. Proving himself both a skilled negotiator and able to put up with just about anything, he hopes to use this reputation to find a better position once the lady's quirks finally get the better of her.
• Sergeant Fluffy, the Wolpertinger who serves as her head of security. Somewhat politically naiive but paranoid enough for the job.
• And finally the many-named Piskey bard who always manages to earn exactly enough to settle their hotel bills when he's out busking. Curious how specific the amount is...

I have written a one-shot adventure about storming a psychiatric hospital (fake, it's just a front for Autumn People and Dauntain) to rescue a Childling Noble. The pregenerated characters are an Unseelie Balor Sidhe, an Unseelie Trolless, a Shadow Court Nocker, an Unseelie Redcap with a soft touch for drawing fluffy creatures and pinching children's cheeks and my favourite: an Inanimae Mannikin whose Anchor is this old-fashioned coin-operated Fortunetelling Machine.



The story has always been quite sucessful.
