That must raised some eyebrows among the elders of the Tremere clan Ragged Robin. But that is the whole point of the post of seeing unlikely clan friendships that defy the norm.

There might very well be some Tremere Vampires who would be positive about and would decide to be friends with or cooperate with a Salubri Vampire. It often so that Vampires make all kinds of different choices and decisions, especially when qualities and circumstances align and change.

Neither clan is aware of this yet, but I'm sure it's not going to go well when they are.

Also got a Giovanni dating a Gangrel (shared love of traveling, cars, racing and running the hell away from your crazy family). Interestingly most people get their clans the wrong way around.

Edit: I just remembered another fucked up one; another Giovanni who's head over heels and hellbent on seducing his (amused, mildly flattered, and incredibly disturbed) Samedi coterie mate. Because apparently we have a very fucked up sense of humour at this table.
    Love these!

The main Camarilla Clans also work well together because this Sect's laws, rules, culture, and logistics support teamwork and cooperation of Kindred in regard to the various emotional, intelligence, thinking and attitude related tendencies specific to Vampires of different Clans. Also the various entertainment, feuds, rivalries, social meetings, and cultural events specific to the Camarilla certainly help in regard to cooperation, and also of course in regard to compassion, understanding, and wisdom.

The other six clans... There's a lot of baggage with those guys. If an Assamite makes friends with a Setite, at least one of them is a traitor. These clans can kinda get on the good side with the affable 7, but with each other? No. They're quite extreme in viewpoint. They're clans with weaknesses and disciplines which draw them towards extremes of ideology, and they're Ideologically opposed to one another.
I suppose in a universe that was more optimistic in general, resources (blood) are not a hunt and if it relied less on kindred schemes in both young and millennial one, that would be true, but the truth with kindred is that it is that question that at some point they will step out of line and that is what makes these arrangements more difficult to happen. As for the Camarilla, they are less a meeting of friends, and more an alliance based on interest, so much so that each one contributes in some way.

There is the often mentioned Toreador ( Artisan) and Ventrue friendship, or the possible sensible and interesting Tremere and Nosferatu cooperation, or the clear shared interests and goals between Ventrue Vampires and Tremere Vampires.
These arrangements and alliances of course often include a third or even a fourth group. It has to be mentioned that at this point a Lasombra Kindred or a Setite ( Ministry ) Vampire might be interested and involved to some considerable and meaningful extent.
I would say that the Disciplines and Weaknesses of the core 7 are great for playing well with others. They're generalists, and having three common disciplines (or two common disciplines and a very versatile power) helps them with more feeding strategies and helps them compromise and therefore work together. The other six clans are far more specialized with disciplines and can't be as flexible. But also Quietus/Obtenebration are purely murder disciplines while Chimistry and Vicissitude are great aids to anyone looking to break the law. Then when you get behind the sects these clans have built they're basically unamicable in a lot of ways.

    Assamites- justice obsessed zealots
    Settites- Average anarcho-capitalists.
    Giovanni- family-centric degenerates
^^ They're going to kill each other. Like, if the political compass was valid, these fellows would be on opposite ends while the Cam 7 would be far closer to the centre.

Tzmisce- "My domain and the people in it are mine and I'll chair anyone who intrudes on my private space"
Lasombra- religiously psychopathic, control freak, doesn't play well with others.
Ravnos- Literally hate the path of humanity.

Fro mthe top of my head, I had severals, but the most memorable are:
My Salubri Warrior who had a Garou friend; they were childhood buddies, then got separated; the Garou first changed and he got Embraced and met again when had the same target; basically back bumped to each other fighting very nasty things with Klaive and flaming sword, turned and locked blade, then the wolf recognized my Salubri
My Settite befriended a Cappadocian and regularly had neat conversations about relegion and the nature of faith and death and afterlife
My quasi-independent on and off Camarilla Tzimisce on the Via Venator Umbra, Path of the Grey Hunter (I knwo its a DA Road, but we carried them to the modern age) and a young City Gangrel girl
My Kiasyd on the Via Voluptarius, who throw sick parties, knew the Blood food recipes and such and a Toreador gourmet

My old Lasombra Abyss Mystic would play monthly games of Chess with the Tremere Regent of another city, a tradition they started prior to the formation of the Sabbat and Camarilla. Neither faction was really willing to pursue the matter on account of both of their ages and power, and their friendship was a genuine bond.

An 8th generation Banu Haqim who sometimes joined a couple of young Tremere witches in rituals and said that should their sire ever come to try and take them their sire would meet Sophia*.

*Sophia being the longsword he's used since his living days as a Knight Templar.

All the time i guess. Every domain is a little different and kindred are individuals, with beliefs, connections, ideals and prejudices preserved or twisted from their breathing years or the stormy nights of their their unlives.

Gangrel harpy that also happens to be an anarch leader, seneschal to the "new" Toreador prince (that was previously a primogen) and her lover. And almost every kindred in the city knows it.

A Fight Club-esque clique of young licks composed of a Brujah, Banu Haqim, Caitiff, Toreador, [City] Gangrel sharing an interest and competitive streak over speed & celerity that borders on obsession. They will on occasion go into inane games like speed metal guitar disputes at inhuman speeds, hunting by racing & scaring speeding cars and other potentially masquerade-breaching but highly entertaining things that have made them reasonably popular with a certain brand of anarchs.

A bunch of young or not so young licks of all clans with a rapport among the local Toreador and their events due to talents music, poetry, and/or singing among other things.

An ongoing but quite hush-hush romance between the local Tremere regent and the childe of one of a major anarch leader, something neither of them expected, planned but simply can't let go no matter the trouble to them both (think Abraham DuSable & Evelyn Stephens or Strauss & Damsel and you people wouldn't be far off the mark).

Not creating, because the ideas were not well seen, but I already thought about some very strange concepts:

Two childhood friends who were born in the same underprivileged neighborhood, but one of them managed to go to a good college and move up in life, years later the two meet again, one of them is now from the Ventrue clan and the other from Brujah clan and their old neighborhood became a domain shared by their corterie, they hate each other by the way.

A couple consisting of a Toreador and her ghoul, who she intended to embrace eventually, but because of a twist of fate, he was non-consensually Embraced by a Nosferatu, only to annoy the Toreador, so she loses interest in him and now he's made his ambition to make her un-life a hell.

A Banu Haqim and a Glass Walker who become lovers, yes I had that idea, but even I couldn't make it go forward. The Banu Haqim in question grew up as an orphan and later learns that her mother is a follower of Set.

A couple consisting of a Tremere girl and a Gangrel boy... and that's all.

That's cool, a koldun who joined the Camarilla, met a Salubri girl who was left alone, she keeps the girl as her child and says she's from the Malkavian clan, simply because whatever strange attitude she might display she just needs to say that she is a daughter of Malkav and they don't suspect, no more than they would any other kindred unleast.

there's probably more, but I don't remember right now.
