Interesting idea with a lot of potential. But what I'd really like is some rpgs for my rpg setting

Mmmm... I'm just full of negativity on this one.
      • Game set in Venice; protagonist is apparently an Assamite instead of the other obvious choice of my favourite clan.
      • Assamite protagonist somehow has Oblivion [Obtenebration]
These are, of course, entirely personal gripes and come down to preference, but I would pass this up on that alone. And, even if I was inclined to play, why VR. Why. Could we not have non-VR alternatives? Even if I could afford one, I get horrific motion sickness that makes me unable to use it. (I'm still so mad that the only Wraith game in existence is barred to me)

Yeah, me too. Even if I don't play some video games (not only WoD based but generally speaking) I still like to use certain parts of the plot/setting during my games. That's why when my players listen to the radio I mix my playlist with radio commercials from GTA series . And that's why I would like somebody to create a plot description based on quests from V:tM Bloodhunt. Even if I don't like a battle royale games I think I would be able to create a decent story based on Bloodhunt. So if any of you guys could do it for me I would be grateful.

Why you assume it would be an Assamite? I think that any clan could have an assassin among them. On the other hand, judging by the description (quite powerful, with a crosbow, female voice) gives me a feeling that Fatima al Fahadi could be the protagonist.

Sorry to hear about your troubles with VR. I have to admit that I didn't have a chance to try VR games (and Wraith indeed looks very interesting) but I hope that both of us could enjoy those games someday.

V5's character creation allows the pick of two of three clan disciplines. The protagonist's disciplines are Blood Sorcery and Obfuscate, drinks from vampires as well as mortals, the theme is "Justice"; Assamite is the most obvious conclusion.

Because Meta is involved in that and they've gone all in on VR so anything they touch will be VR.

Several articles have revealed that the PC is a Banu Haqim traveling from New York to Venice to find her Sire's killer.

Homo sapiens. What an inventive, invincible species. It's only a few million years since they crawled up out of the mud and learned to walk. Puny, defenceless bipeds. They've survived flood, famine and plague. They've survived cosmic wars and holocausts. And now, here they are, out among the stars, waiting to begin a new life. Ready to outsit eternity. They're indomitable. Indomitable.

Another Vampoire: the Masquerade role-playing and adventure video game. VtM : Bloodlines 2 is certainly making a good enough impression, but the setting, the metaplot, and the storyline of VtM could definitely use another WoD video or computer game. I tthink that it is clear that in regard to VtM ( and also WoD - for example MtA ) computer games of the grand strategy, empire building, and nation managment type would be complex, worthwhile, and intricate.

I don't know, I guess this that it doesn't fit with the franchise, and I think few people are expecting anything from Bloodlines2.

The available descriptions, drawings, trailers, and pictures from V : tM Bloodlines 2 do give a normal, reasonable, and distinct idea that this game is being made with anattention to the story, the setting, variety, and gameplay quality. This type of effort and work does make sense - great expectations come with VtM : Bloodlines 2 being a definite progression from VtM : Bloodlines 1.

I have to mention that of course there are a few wonderous, great, good, and normal card games based on the World of Darkness and Vampire : the Masquerade.
These card systems are simply and definitely a perfect setting and story expansion and development, for WoD and V : tM , while at the same time being good entertainment and positive intellectual challange.

If you say so. I have to admit that I'm not very familiar with 5th edition.

I actually think this would be a really good idea from Paradox since it actually plays to their stengths instead of chasing flavour of the week like vr and battle royales.
