  • Rough idea for a werewolf mini-supplement

While eating, I was idly thinking and came up with an idea which could be easily tied to my earlier Bunyip idea.

In short, the pack locate and trace a Wyrm creature to South or Southeast Asia. Biting more than they can chew, they hear a strange whistling, which is oddly familiar, before a pack of unknown Fera comes our of the Umbra and help them defeat the creature.

The Fera then celebrate the victorious Battle is a very familiar way that makes them ill at ease, but before they can do or say anything, they here a voice speaking in the Garou tongue behind them. The voice belong to an old Stargazer and his Beast Court pack. The old Stargazer, a Half-moon is torn. The pack prouved resourceful, in locating and in their valiant attempt to destroy the Wyrm taint, but in doing so have stumbled upon a Secret of the Emerald Court that they had keep for countless Centuries and would prefer to keep out of Garou Nation's collective Radar.

Essentially, the unkown Fera are a group of Dhole shifter. Either a whole "new" race of Fera, with it's own role & Auspices (something in the range of the Gaillard but without the storyteller/living memory element) or a offshoot/sub-tribe of the pre-Thylacine Bunyip...in which case they would be essentially Garou with a twist...ranging in India, China and most of the Southeast Asian countries as part of the Beast Court.

What do you think Any god potential, ideas for improvement, glaring hole or potential pitfalls you can spot? Amy feedback would be appreciated.

Call them the Devil Dogs after their Hindi name and let them be just one of the new Eastern Garou tribes to be discovered. I can see this as the beginning to a whole new story.

That's a pretty cool idea, I had not thought off.

In and by itself, it is a seed that had indeed the potential to grow into a much bigger arc.

Were the Bunyip ever members of the Garou Nation? Weren't they killed off before they were recognized?

About as much as the White Howler, Croatan, Siberakh, Los Infelizos and Singing Dogs...so not really no.

But considering the Garou track record, I can see the Feras and the Beast Court actively trying to keep a new fera or a Garou bloodline/offshoot hidden from them...that is, until the Wyrm breaks free and all of Gaia's children are needed.

Going back to what Froggo suggested, it could be tempting to expend on it, so what would be good options for new Garou breed?

Dingo and African Painted dogs are already taken "taken". Fox and coyote have heir own Fera type.

It would leave other wolf species (like the African Golden wolf, the Ethiopian wolf and the Himalayan wolf to name but a few), feral dogs (like the Singing Dogs) or the various types of jackals (which tend to be smaller).
