  • Book of Oblivion

So is there any clue as to when this book will be coming out. I have seen the links here that show the two articles that describe it but those are kind of old now, and it would be nice to see an update or even a release date.

    Check the monday meeting notes:

Currently Book of Oblivion has just entered editing phase.

      Short answer: "when it's done".

Slightly longer answer: going by precedent with previous releases and presuming nothing weird happens...a few months at best. So it's still going to be a bit.

i have checked the Monday Meeting Notes, i was more so wanting to know if there was any movement on it, as it is the first supplement to wraith in a long time that isn't a core book rewrite. i did read somewhere that Onyx is going to open up wraith like they did for Vampire, Werewolf & Mage. that could be fun to see if people will get there own work published.

You mean the ST Vault? If so, that's been up for Wraith.

I'd laugh and laugh if it were a sourcebook with all blank pages.

From the WtO 20 Kickstarter Update: RichT here:
Deluxe Wraith 20 and the Wraith20 Screen are being packaged up, Rich "Deadguy" Dansky has signed his copies for those of you who pledged for those, and the shipper is getting ready for shipping!
The Book of Oblivion is in Editing and Art Direction, which often happen at the same time since both need the text to be finished first.
The Wraith20 Fiction Anthology writers are writing.

That'd be the easiest word count I ever got paid to produce.

I forget, what all is BoO supposed to cover?

What is tolerance? It is the consequence of humanity. We are all formed of frailty and error; let us pardon reciprocally each other's folly. That is the first law of nature.
                    Voltaire, "Tolerance" (1764)

The initial BoO sections funded by the Wr20 KS were:
                      The Tempest & Maelstroms
                      The Labyrinth
Spectres (with new castes and Dark Arcanoi)
                      Shadows
                      Spectre cults

When it came down to writing, Bruce Baugh added:
                      Wraiths and disasters
                      The Mesoamerican Underworld
The Underworld of South & Southeast Asia
                      The Underworld of sub-Saharan Africa
                      Stygian Necropoli

Looks by and large like he oversaw it; he doesn't tag himself as writing any of the sections.
