  • A Crossover Idea

I have an Crossover idea for Beast and a few of the other Onyx Path Games and I was hoping I could get some feedback. As I was making a Beast Character just for the hell of it I chose to make an Outlaw Biker Ugallu/Tyrant with a Thunderbird horror. I then realized that I had previously made a Changeling Elemental based on a Thunderbird and an Ogre based on Storm Giantess as part of my Summer Court, which happens to be an Outlaw Motorcycle Club, and I thought it might be cool to make an allied outlaw motorcycle club called the Storm Riders and have its president be the Ugallu/Tyrant Thunderbird character and then I would transfer the Changeling Thunderbird and Storm Giantess to this new club and possibly add one or Storm Lords from Werewolf: The Forsaken and perhaps an Obrimos from Mage: The Awakening. Let me know what you all think.

It's a cool idea. My obvious suggestion would be to use "Riders on the Storm"as the club theme, but the concept works regardless of that.

With a Promethean Frankenstein the club would be super!

Could any of you also offer suggestions as to why one or more Storm Lord werewolves would join a mixed group as their pack?

              Because it's fucking metal.

              Okay, jokes aside:

              1) Considering the wide variety of strange and hard hitting enemies that such a group would run into, it's seems like a great way to prove the virtues of endurance and keeping one's weaknesses to one's self.
              2) The general storm aesethtic makes Storm Lord rites much easier to pull off, let's be honest.
              3) It may entirely be that there are related prey that doing a long run and haul, possibly switching off between hosts.

The big one, though, is also boringly normal: If they didn't start off in this group, they had relationships with them, and as their relationship to their pack changed(maybe people died, maybe people moved on or changed, whatever), the Storm Lords just found themselves hanging out more and more with this pack than their former pack, until the group became their new pack. Stuff happens.

Nevermind me. Didn't check which forum this was posted in.

So it is theoretically possible that a werewolf character who met and befriended the Beast and two Changelings for one reason or another, possibly due to him being the last surviving member of his original pack or he just recently went through his first change and this group of supernaturals just happened to help him through it, would start to see this group of people as his pack and the President of the Motorcycle Club as his Alpha?

Pack is in the peeps, not the furry genetic condition that some of them have. So long as there is the Hunt and the Bond, you got yourself a pack, mate.

As I unfortunately do not have a group of gaming friends and I mainly use the game lines of Chronicles of Darkness as a source of intriguing reading as well as inspirational material for my extremely overactive imagination, anyone who has been inspired to use my idea in their own games has my full permission to run with it all that I ask is that you keep me updated on how you made it your own as that might help me expand upon it myself. Thanks for all the feedback.

And to those who do make use of it; may your fuel tanks never empty, may your liquor be scrumptious and may the storm winds guide you to happiness.
