If I have questions about the Kickstarter for the team, where should I ask them?

Hedge ghosts are part of the final version of the book.

The full text will be coming in four installments over the course of the Kickstarter. Part 1, "Crisp Autumn Air," is the introduction and first two chapters.

So it should be, and it should be available to all.
Welp, unless I'm not reading this right it looks like it's backers only and not the full text or at least not all in one go, instead periodical drips of manuscript previews. When something seems too good to be true...

It does make more business sense though, so I get why they'd go in that direction.

You can back at $5, check out the preview, then decide if you want to fully back or two drop your pledge. You won't be charged until the KS is concluded.

That sucks, because I’m not backing until I’ve gotten a look at the new Clarity rules. So, I guess I’m not backing.

I'll be happy to pitch in a lot more than that ;p I really really wish the full text was here as I'm running a chronicle where we started as human, and the PCs just now escaped Arcadia and are ready to discover the magic and society of the Lost second edition (as am I, all the previews have been wonderful). But that's a me problem ;p Hope the KS does great.

Sure, but the full text is coming in multiple installments over the course of the kickstarter. And for those of us who still aren’t sure if we want to support the project at all, this doesn’t help.

And I mean, I get it. It’s a smart financial decision on OPP’s part. Putting the full text up for anyone anyone does allow people to play the game without having to buy it. And this strategy might get them $5 here and there from people who are curious enough to see the text they’ll pay that much. Just sucks for those of us who had been hoping the Kickstarter would finally give some closure on this whole thing and help us make an informed decision about whether or not to support the product.

They'll be in a backer preview next week, and probably will get some attention in one of the regular updates.

The short version is that Clarity is your ability to assert your own truth after your traumatic experiences. So it's about being able to say with confidence "yes, I really was abducted by faeries" to the mundane world and "my pal, that is some Grade A True Fae bullshit" to stuff coming from the fae realm. Clarity is knowing there's someone in the attic even when Mr. Rochester insists there isn't.

It uses breaking points and Touchstones, but instead of a pile of points, it's more like your Health track, meaning that there are both fast-recovery and slow-recovery challenges to Clarity, and hitting a breaking point resolves a lot like an attack, because that's what it is -- an attack on your ownership of your perceptions.

                          Yup, that's totally fair.

I'm sorry, but given the already shaky faith I have in the project after the delays and reworks - I was quite fond of the "Underhill" version - no preview of what the game's become means no support from me.

Pity, I was quite enthused to put my concerns to rest one way or another. Putting the ability to know what one is actually supporting behind a paywall may be 'good business practice', but it's a scummy way to treat your customers in my book, and it's not great for my faith in the company in general.

I’m not a fan of this decision either, but let’s avoid using adjectives like “scummy” to describe Onyx Path, as that gets into group attack territory.

Apologies, and fair enough. Just to clarify, it's my view on this *practice*, and this *decision* rather than the company *itself*, and I admit it's my personal view rather than objectively the case.
